Melo's Taquería is a can’t miss spot for some of the best tacos and Mexican food in town. The flavors are on point, the portions generous, and the straightforward menu ensures consistency. Diners recommend the birria tacos, steak, breakfast burritos, and even the Melo’s Burger. The homemade hot sauce is stupendous, with the habanero salsa described as to die for and perfection. The chicken was more dry than hoped, but the experience, fast and kind service, and the way they cook the tortillas is outstanding. Food is fresh and large enough to make you hurt in a good way. The restaurant has a mouth watering smell of food cooking as soon as you walk in. They also sell traditional Mexican baked goods. It is the best hole in the wall place on the Oregon Coast, a diamond in the rough. Easy counter ordering and quick, neatly boxed to go food is available. For dining in, grab a sweet glass bottle of classic Mexican drinks.
