My family and I were traveling down the coast and needed to spend the night in town. We got ready to start our next day and decided to try out breakfast here at MIST. Absolutely no regrets! Our server Jose was amazing. He checked on us consistently and was very kind! Food was amazing and service was quick. Definitely recommend whether you’re traveling solo or want to grab a bite with family and friends!

Went in for dinner with my wife. It was the first thing she ate in 8 hours and the it gave her food poisoning. You would think the fish and chips could be trusted at an expensive Oceanside restaurant

Stopped by Mist to have a cocktail with a view. It’s been a few years since our last visit, but I remembered the bar area being nice with tables overlooking the beach. We arrived early on a Saturday afternoon and were told we could seat ourselves anywhere in the bar, so we snagged the best table with a great view.
I couldn’t believe that a restaurant so close to Surftides and right on the ocean has such an impressively affordable drink menu—I mean, seriously, where do you get a $10 Old Fashioned these days? The bartender came over quickly and took our order for two Old Fashioneds and a bowl of chowder. Upon delivering the drinks, she mentioned she was new and wasn't sure if she’d made them exactly right. They were actually good! She just missed the cherry and orange essence, but for $10, I’m certainly not complaining.
The clam chowder, however, was the star of the show. Seriously, it’s the best clam chowder in Lincoln City right now. I am picky and not easily impressed, but this was perfect. It was clearly fresh—rich and velvety without being pasty or like 'sipping on gravy.' The clams were tender and provided a perfect balance of rich texture and delicate, briny flavor. We will definitely be regulars whenever I need a chowder fix!

Awesome staff and the food was the best!
Cod fish and substituted onion rings for chips, fish tacos and coleslaw. The service was spot on and friendly.
Prices were great, the portions were large.
Support this great place with an ocean view!

I went at 4pm on a Sunday for the Prime Rib. The service was very friendly and the food was plentiful. I sat with a view of the ocean. The bar was the busy spot. Good energy 🔆

They were out of prime rib, baked potato, asparagus, iced tea. We were thinking we should just ask what the do have. The rib eye was over seasoned and tough, clam chowder, broccolini and garlic mashed potatoes were all just like warm. We felt bad for the server. The ocean view was ok. We won’t be back.

We went for our ventines dinner there and the service was absolutely 1 star. The guy at front seated us and then the waitress came over and asked why we were sitting there because it was a reserved spot and we told her because the guy at the front sat us there. There was no reserved sign at the table. Then she proceeded to ask us what kind of drinks we want and we asked for a menu to see what the option are and she eventually brought us one. We ordered drinks and then looked at the menu The top items were sold out so we ordered the prime rib with clam chowder and the fettuccine with chicken. They brought the food but no spoon for the chowder and I took a bit of the fettuccine and it was all oil no taste to the sauce oil and butter and the chicken had absolutely no flavor at all. It literally made me gag. The chowder was cold and looked like the chowder from Progressi New England clam chowder and upon tasting it that exactly what it was. They did take off the charge for the fettuccine because I immediately sent it back, she asked if I wanted something else and I said absolutely not that was disgusting. My husband ate part of his steak and on the way out the waiting guests ask if it was worth the wait and our response was absolutely not. We will never eat here again. The bar serves good drinks just don’t eat the food.

I feel this place is totally underrated! The staff is super welcoming! The view is amazing! Had a girls weekend and stopped in the bar for some cocktails and the service was great! Thank so much for the relaxing atmosphere and great staff! Unfortunately we didnt try the food, the menu didn't look over complicated with a bunch items definitely would've gave it a try if we didn't already have dinner plans.

When it comes to chowder, they have the most clam in it compared to any place I've ever been to.
Smokes Mo's out of the water by far.

The chairs at the bar are wonky but it's a cozy place by the fire.
Just met some friends for a drink and it was tasty.

Food was smaller portions, not very good quality and overpriced. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and took one bite of the chicken and had to discard it because the texture indicated that it wasn't cooked well. The chicken also looked poorly cooked.

In addition we wanted to sit down and eat desserts, I wanted the cream brulee and my husband ordered the lemon cheesecake. I was told that they wouldn't be able to heat the cream brulee so I opted for the tres leches. The waitress brought both of our desserts out in to go boxes when we expressed wanting to eat in. This made us feel unwelcome and that we were getting kicked out because we had our baby and toddler with us. Not family friendly.

The lemon cheesecake was a normal slice of cheesecake with a lemon wedge on the side. The tres Leche was incredibly dry and the cream on top tasted terrible.

The food was pretty good. The coconut shrimp was to die for. The only problem was the lights kept flickering giving us a headache
