Today, 6-21-26 my friend, who is a very sweet “church lady,” never an unkind word from her mouth, was basically assaulted by the male barista at the window. She was on her way to meet myself and a few other Friends. She decided to go through their drive through to get a coffee with a friend in car, while they waited for myself and two others to arrive in Lincoln city. She ordered two simple coffees. The man told her they were $14. All she did was nicely say,”$14?” And he flew of the handle started cursing at her and forcibly shoved the coffee cup at her so hard that the lid flew off and the hot coffee splattered all over her. She called us when it happened and was distraught. Told us what happened and I told her she needed to report it to the police. She chose not to, even though she received a burn on her chest from it. Still she did not want to respond as she could have and report it or Sue. This guy needs to count his lucky stars. She said he continued to call her all sorts of names and curse even after he saw the coffee spilled all over her. I encouraged her to at least tell the owner but she said she thought he was the owner.
I just want to make sure it is known what happened today. If he’s not the boss he should be fired.

Been going to this place for years. Gatta be my goto for coffee here in town. Nyla has the best customer service, always happy and smiling. She remembers my order every time. She makes her treats from scatch and always a pleasant time talking to her. Its not like your going to get coffee, its more like visiting family. Highly recomended to everyone local or visiting.

I love trying local coffee spots and find that in our state, local is always tastiest too. But this was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I pulled up in Depoe Bay and my first impression of the stand was that it was cluttered and messy. A gentleman came to the window and immediately was abrasive and rude. I considered driving away when he first had an attitude and didn’t. Wish I had. He was very short with me, had a disrespectful tone, took payment in the middle of making our drinks, and nearly jumped down my throat when I answered his question about my drink order (which was just a standard drink off the menu). Even my 5 year old was put off by his attitude and demeanor, without me even saying anything. Our two drinks were $15 (with a small tip - I tried to kill him with kindness, it didn’t work). When I got my drink it didn’t even look like what I’d ordered and tasted like straight syrup. It put Dutch Bros. to shame. We hit up Connie’s near Newport a few miles down, tossed it in their trash and had a much better drink. So, you can skip this spot.

Very friendly service, super cute shop, and the drinks were pretty good. Bring cash to tip because there wasn’t an option for card!

Lincoln City has a ton of independent coffee / tea houses, and it was my goal to try a lot of them on my eight day visit to the Oregon coast during the first week of June.

Ugh! This was the weakest cup of Joe AND the MOST expensive! I should have known something was up when I drove right up to the window. There's no pricing on the menu, which is a bit odd, and one might infer that this is so Nyla can charge tourists a different price from locals. I ordered a small, vanilla latte and it was so weak, I stirred it to make sure the flavor wasn't all resting on the bottom. Definitely NOT worth the $6.50 on this cup! Additionally, Nyla needs to do a bit of sprucing up as the place is fun and quirky, but needs a good cleaning and some paint!

We pulled up to this establishment not knowing what to expect... what a breath of fresh air. We were met with the most kind lady with a beautiful smile and great personality! I wish we had know this place was here before we left town... we would have come sat on their front porch! Thank you for being kind and for the nice conversation and great smile!

Must have a new owner because there is no way this guy deserves any kind of good review. He was rude and would not make an iced coffee. He is the most expensive coffee shop I’ve ever visited all across the USA. He actually sent my granddaughter somewhere else. When she repeated the price he told us to “Get the f*^k out of here!!” That’s a man running a business? Only explanation is he relies on tourists who don’t read reviews.

Love this place. The owner is incredibly kind and has a great sense of humor. You can tell she takes tremendous pride in her work and genuinely loves what she does. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and truly cares about taking care of her community. Stop by and experience the warmth, both from the coffee and from her hospitality.

Nyla is so sweet and wonderful. She recommended a delicious drink that met my dietary needs. She remembers me and my order when I’m coming through the pick up line. So much better than waiting in a long line across the street at Dutch bros for that sugary $10 “coffee”.
