Stopped at North Fork Station - Smoke Theory Food Truck earlier this evening as we were coming home from an afternoon on the mountain. This spot did not disappoint. Ordered the brisket - so tender it almost melts in your mouth. Some of the best I have had locally. Sides included tasty Mac and cheese and coleslaw! Cannot wait to go back!
Got the brisket, burnt ends, Mac and cheese and beans. It was the best barbecue I’ve had in Oregon. No BS with fancy sides or experimentation, just perfect seasoning and tender meat the way a BBQ plate should be. The only competition is in Carolina.
We didn’t even intend to stop for lunch, but I’m so glad we did. I had the pork belly burnt ends and mac’n’cheese..wow!! Absolutely fantastic!! Best BBQ I’ve ever had was in Mesquite Texas, but I can tell you, this ranks up as a close second. I’ve eaten a lot of BBQ, so to be second on that list, is a big compliment. Absolutely recommend this food truck, and the hotdog guy next door. My husband had their burger & fries and loved it.
