Been going here since I was 2. It's still my favorite place to eat! Enchiladas are bomb!

It's probably the worst spaghetti I've ever had. Who put olives in spaghetti sauce? The other dishes looked unappetizing also.

The German Pizza was a wonderful surprise Full of great toppings and so much flavor I ate way more than I normally do. The Long Island tea was one of the best Long Island teas that I've ever had. A great place to enjoy our 42nd Anniversary.

Love eating there and loved working there when pregnant with oldest daughter. In 97/98. Daughters fathers family has worked there & good friends with the owner; the family even has a few dishes named after them. Pam's tostada. Tammy pizza(?) Jennifer pizza(?).

Dinner at Charlie's is one of those AMAZING experiences in Madras - just as waking up to the beautiful view of the Cascade range. For those of us born & raised in Madras - were lucky enough to remember the days when Charlie himself would come out of the kitchen & spread his special kindness & joy to all his customers in the dining area. A tradition his family, especially son Mike, still carry on today! My ultimate favorite is a Mexican Pizza - available ONLY at Charlie's Pizza!

Arrived at 6:45. Seated & the hostess brought us chips and salsa right away. Salsa was horrid. Never saw a waitress. Waited over 15 minutes and left.

I don't get the even remotely negative reviews. This place is so awesome. Reminds me of many places I went with my parents as a kid. The pizza and Mexican food is awesome. You need to get the Mexican pizza, it is delicious. The beer is good, they have plenty of Mexican and other domestics beers, plus some locals. This place is a gem, protect at all costs. Check it out for dinner or lunch for sure.

We opted for Mexican food instead of pizza. We both ordered different dishes, yet they both came out looking the same. The dishes were lined with tortilla chips and brown gravy covered everything! We’ve eaten at many Mexican restaurants in the US and several in Mexico. We’ve never had anything like this before! The chips were over-cooked, the salsa didn’t taste like salsa and the food under the gravy was just okay. We were skeptical about eating anything on the plate and we were hungry! We ate maybe 3 bites. Yuck!! Do not go here!

Based on the reviews we decided to try this place. I have lived in Central Oregon all of my 61 years. I have driven by this place hundreds of times but never ate there. Today my cousin and I decided it was time to try it. The décor was old, 1980's, we loved it and felt right at home. We had heard about the mexican pizza. I have eaten mexican pizzas all over the place in my travels so was anxious to try this one. I wish I hadn't.Never in our entire lives have we felt like getting up and walking out of a place after our first bite of food. But we did here. We have eaten in a lot of places that we found the food to be marginal, but still ate it, paid the bill and never returned. This one we could not even get past the first bite. It was so horrible it made us sick to our stomach and we have strong stomachs. The Waitress asked me how it was. I kept my mouth shut not wanting to make a scene. We left half the pizza on our plates, asked for a box to take the rest and paid the bill. On the way out I saw some other people eating the same pizza. I told them that I did not care for it and if they wanted mine. They said they didn't want it either. I tossed it in the garbage when I got home.A little over $50 for an ice tea, an inedible pizza and two White Claws for two people. Expensive lesson learned. We will never be back.
