“Surprising little hole in the wall type shop. Like a permanent food truck in an open food court of 3 shops. More than enough seating in evening. Only saw 3 other customers do pick-up orders, but food is decent as is the serving size - we did order the bento style combos mind you.”

“This is part of an outdoor food court. It was the only place open on a Sunday evening among the three places here. I ordered a Thai iced tea and the spicy salmon roll, which has avocado, salmon, cucumber, and masago. Fairly tasty. The Thai iced tea was a lot less sweet than what I am used to.The cashier/cook was friendly and efficient. I received my food in less than 10 minutes. All food is served in takeout containers Overall, not a bad place, especially if you need a quick bite when passing through Madras.”

“This was a great place to eat! Food was delicious, reasonable prices, and you should see and taste the huge biscuit! Waiter was thoughtful and made my handicapped wife feel invited the whole time.”

“Great little bar! We had chicken bacon wrap that was stuffed full and very tasty chicken wings that would put Buffalo wild wings to shame! Definitely would stop again when coming through Madras! Our waitress was very attentive and amazing too!”

“Was drawn in by the lure of$2 Tacos on a Tuesday. Friend and I got 6 Al Pastor and 6 Tri-Tip. Comes with Salsa Verda, Onion, Cilantro and Cotija. The Tri-Tip was great, juicy, tender, and chopped fine on the flat top. The Al Pastor though was FANTASTIC! Chopped fine with the same ingredients. It takes a little longer to prepare but my Guy uses a passed down family recipe and it's top notch! He is also very friendly and conversational which was a plus in my book. Kudos! Very much worth what you pay. Will most definitely be back!P.S. They aren't just a taco truck. He has Sandos, Wraps and smash burgers too!”

“We were passing by and found this place by accident. In all fairness, it was the happiest accident I've had in a long time. Let me start with the people who manage and serve food at this place: they are very kind, friendly and very helpful. The cook is probably the best Mexican cook in the entire Oregon state. Great food, amazingly tasty, potions are just the right size and the price is more than fair.Even though I live far away from this place I can't wait to come back in the future.”

“We're beyond grateful ? and thrilled for The Wandering Chef's food and experience! My husband and I worked with him for our reception that hosted about 120 people. The food was incredible! Without much direction, he got our vision ? The food was the quality of a high end restaurant--light, bright, and bursting with flavor (and my personal fav, the two main dishes had lots of veggies)--with the ease, affordability, and whimsy of the traveling food cart (that just parked on our driveway!) So many of our guests raved about the food and the gourmet Mac and Cheese ? was a hit with the kiddos (and adults). We highly recommend The Wandering Chef!”
