“This McDonald's is one of the best, hands down. It's a little small inside, but that's probably its only shortcoming.

I stay in Madras every weekend for work and, except for maybe one or two times, the portions here have always been LARGE and fresh, and the service has always been wicked fast. The employees are almost all super amiable and they almost always seem to take pride in their work, something that's increasingly uncommon in the service industry.

For families, this location still has a playplace, and it's clean and safe. I've never worried about my kids when they play. For travelers with less-common vehicles, the lot has a few spaces for trailers and RVs, and the side-street it's on has space for semi-trucks with their trailers.

While Madras has multiple options for a quick bite, and McDonald's isn't necessarily the cheapest anymore, I still come back almost every weekend (sometimes multiple times) just because this location is that much better than some of the other options around.

Parking: Ample parking for passenger vehicles, five curbside spots, three RV/trailer spots
