I absolutely love coming here! This café is such a beautiful and relaxing spot with amazing scenery and the best vibe. I’m completely hooked on their Chicken Avocado Panini — it’s so delicious that I can’t even bring myself to try anything else! The staff are always kind, friendly, and welcoming, which makes every visit even better. I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven’t already!

What a pleasant surprise! My wife got the breakfast buffet and I a breakfast burrito with their amazing house made salsa. Everything was delicious, hot and fresh. The coffee was also on point. If you haven't been, be sure to give them a shot!

Been here three times for pastry and coffee. All food good but the young woman helping us each time was incredibly rude. I am not local, could that be the problem? Management needs to have a chat with her…

Just ate here. Very cool, non-pretentious place to eat - excellent food and staff and very good coffee (better than the pretentious corporate S***bucks brand) 🙌🏽

Big sandwiches. Lots of selection and the food was very good. Their bakery selection looked appetizing and I will have to try next time.

We came in about a half an hour before they closed and ordered the most wonderful bowl with roasted brussel sprouts, broccoli, zucchini, with fresh avocado and quinoa with edamame. It was delicious! The portion was also really generous and a great value. The staff was lovely. It's very close to the Pacific power charge point electric card charging station. Just a 3 minute walk.

Had high hopes and stopped in for some breakfast. Ordered the Sunrise Avocado Toast. At first I thought it looked great but realized, it wasn’t very good. Description on menu was: Thick sliced honey wheat toast, avocado, egg, bacon, and tomato. (No mention of sunflower seeds) The tomatoes were really good, egg was scrambled, avocado overripe, but they put a ton of sunflower seeds in it and it was WAY too much on the toast - they should mention this ingredient on the menu because I never would’ve ordered it. Also, bacon was the pre cooked Costco type and just meh. 🫤 Toast was too soggy to enjoy. I ate all the tomatoes but that was it. Kinda yucky tbh.
The bakery items looked really good and the coffee was ok. I definitely would not order the avocado toast.
Update: I mentioned the issues to the staff and they were very polite. I picked out as few pastries to take home and fully intended to pay. They gave them to me gratis which was very kind. I tried a Bear claw and Marion berry scone. Both were excellent. I also got a croissant with strawberries and cream but haven’t tried it yet. But it looks gorgeous.

Disappointed! Not big enough to be called a bakery. More a Cafe and market. When I googled bakeries this place came up. Not what I would call a bakery, but the signage outside on the building says bakery.

It took a little to put in the order, but it was good to find something healthy in Madras. Dishes:
- The chicken strawberry salad was fine, but the bread a bit bland.
- The portobello burger was great, oozing with cheese, and the spinach was a good addition, though it should have been chopped more finely. The sweet potato fries were also done right: crispy but thick enough to be a little meaty.
- The tuna salad was not so good, as the tuna was very dry.
We were satisfied overall, and the food came within 5, 10, or 15 minutes, which was fine.
- The Black Forest ham sandwich and supreme ham panini were both good.
There were plenty of options on the menu.
The table and dining area were a bit dirty, as the servers were too busy to clean up (there were a couple but seemed stretched thin).
- The fruit tart was really good, sticky sweet and exactly what it should be.

The interior is not very fancy but the food was amazing! We had fish tacos, a chicken avocado panini, a green goddess bowl, and a side of fries and everything was fresh and delicious. The fish tacos came with pico de gallo, another type of salsa, and a delicious (and surprisingly spicy!) creamy cilantro sauce, and the fish and tortillas had been freshly fried. The green goddess bowl, fries, and panini were also really great. We will be back on our next roadtrip for sure!

Our family stopped for lunch on our way to Portland, OR. We ordered the Mango Shrimp, Chicken w/ strawberry salad, the portobello mushroom burger, the turkey and pesto panini and a raspberry scone.
All of the dishes were delicious!
The best part was the moist and tasty gluten free bread! I’d buy it by the loaf if I lived here.
Special thanks to the owner who allowed us to finish our meal after they had closed.
