The food is not bad, it's our only Chinese restaurant for 40 miles, literally. If you have eaten Chinese food in Seattle, PDX or San Francisco it's just average. I have eaten here frequently over the 16 years I have lived here. Lately I have been pulling back from ordering though because its just getting too expensive for the quality of the food. The last straw was when I ordered an order of plain, Won Ton soup to-go. $16.50! I paid it but I made the promise to not return. (I did look up the price on their menu, it is $15.50). Sorry I want to support local, but...

Service has been super rude lately.
We called and placed and order and the owner hung up on her and told me to call her later because she was to busy. We went to go and pick up our food and she glared and snapped at cause because we didn’t hear her say it’ll be 2 more minutes for our food. Embarrassed snd disappointed to get yelled at in front of people and we had to pay extra for an order change when we clearly said white rice and read it back to me and we got Pork fried rice!
Definitely not eating there again!

Good enough for the type of cuisine here in Madras. Recently the prices went up substantially, I taste that the food is better but portions smaller and nickel a dime u for a soy sauce packet. Casually rude but it may be a cultural thing..

Food was bland - “spicy” Peking pork was sweet & indistinguishable from simple sweet & sour pork, hot & sour soup was watery, Mongolian beef was better.
Beer selection was poor - just a few mass-market lagers. Service was rushed & brusque.
Would not go back.

Very bad customer service, lack of manners on the part of reception. (It seems they don't know how to speak, they just scream)

Decent Chinese food in Madras, but sadly the only Chinese restaurant in Madras. Recently raised prices; the chicken curry dish I usually get went from $15 to $19. It was barely worth $15. I don't recommend their beef dishes, the beef they use tends to be tough not tender. Gee's Family Restaurant in Prineville is a better option, but less convenient.

We just wanted some veggies for dinner and was craving wonton soup. Ordered veggies with tofu and the soup. It was tasty, they were busy for a Wednesday evening with to-go orders as well. Service was efficient.

We had an excellent meal. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. The vegetables in the subgum were fresh and the sweet-and-sour chicken wasn’t overly breaded or soaked in sweet-and-sour sauce. The shrimp were delicious. The restaurant is clean and the waitress was attentive and friendly.

The front lady was rude and had no patience. Our order was wrong. They fixed it. The food was mediocre. I would not recommend this place ?
