Food was great! Waitstaff was friendly. The layout is compact, and a little strange. They have growler fill here as well, which is neat.

Wild Winds Station is a great place to stop and eat. My wife and I took a lunch break here on our way from Central Washington to Sacramento, CA. She enjoyed a fabulous Ruben (equal to the best we ever had) with waffle cut sweet potato fries (the best ever). The pulled pork sandwich I had was definitely the best I have devoured. The meat was moist, tender and wonderfully flavored with a sweet, tangy BBQ sauce that was not overpowering to the natural aroma and flavors of the pork and the tangy coleslaw garnish set off a flavor explosion and delightful crunch that blended well with the toasted bun. I also devoured with gusto the waffle cut sweet potato fries.

Grill hood was broken so a limited menu was available. The salads were big and tasty. However, the restrooms were a disaster! In the women's, no seat covers, no toilet paper in many stalls, dirty, curtains on the stalls and the door propped open.
This was our second time stopping in. In general, food is good and hearty. Place just needs some TLC.

Lovely restaurant with a great choice of beers and ciders and really nice food at a good price. All the servers were really friendly and the fact our toddlers meal was brought out at a temperature that was fine for him to eat it at was a really nice touch! Wish we were in the area more than 1 night so we could come back again

Food was good...I had the Jalapeño Popper burger which was pretty good! The wife had Bacon Cheddar burger which looked pretty good too. My fries were tasty, but the wife's jojos were a little underwhelming, as was my kiddos grilled cheese and fruit. Still, good meal after camping!

We ate here twice while visiting Madras recently. When I first saw the exterior I wasn't expecting much beyond standard quality bar food. My assumptions were wrong! The chili burger was one of the best I've ever had. The burger itself had a good grilled flavor that wasn't overwhelmed by the chili, and the chili was a great mix of tender beans and beef, nicely seasoned, not too spicy. The french fries were exceptional.

On our second visit I had a fantastic BLT with a cup of excellent beef vegetable barley soup. The soup was loaded with tender pieces of beef, and a generous amount of barley and vegetables. The BLT had a good quantity of crisp thin bacon, and a nice balance of lettuce and tomato. My husband was impressed by the quality of the French Dip sandwich he had.

We'll definitely eat at Wild Winds Station again when we visit Madras.

I love to come here for beer, pickle fries, and steak salads! The stuffed burgers are worthwhile. The staff are always friendly and attentive. During daylight hours, it's a very kid friendly place. Try an amaretto sour if you get the chance!

Kid-friendliness: This is a very kid friendly establishment
