What a wonderful experience! We took a chance and went to Big Wave tonight and it exceeded all expectations. My husband and I had the fresh grilled Alaskan halibut with cilantro butter and it was out of this world. Best halibut I’ve ever tasted! Our friend had the crab cakes and they were also delicious. Our waiter, Josh, was the best. He went above and beyond to be attentive and accurate with any special requests. We ordered a desert to share and found out Josh’s mom makes them all from scratch. The peanut butter whipped cream pie was to die for. The whole meal, ambience (sweetly, perfectly casual) and service were A+. I only wish we lived here so we could go more often.

Great local seafood spot. The food was exceptional. Baked Asiago-crusted halibut filet with a baked potato, fresh string beans and a salad is a highly recommended meal choice. The menu was varied with an emphasis on seafood dishes, appropriate for the locale. It is a regular stop for us when visiting Manzanita. Strongly recommended for your casual dining while after the beach.

Casual dining with friendly service and great food. The salad that came with our entrees exceeded expectations--nice mix of fresh lettuce and vegetables, presented well, crisp and tasty. I had the grilled halibut, which had a garlic butter treatment - cooked just done, tender and tasty. Glad they were open on a Wednesday!

Great food in Manzanita. A bit on the pricier side but definitely worth it. We got the halibut burger, tsunami burger, and vegetarian pasta. They were able to make the vegetarian pasta vegan which was super nice.
Had dinner at Big Wave Cafe our first night in Manzanita. The staff was delightful and the pan fried oysters, baked potato, and hot seafood salad were very good. It gets very crowded so it is best to go a little early. Casual atmosphere with beachy charm.
