What a wonderful experience! We took a chance and went to Big Wave tonight and it exceeded all expectations. My husband and I had the fresh grilled Alaskan halibut with cilantro butter and it was out of this world. Best halibut I’ve ever tasted! Our friend had the crab cakes and they were also delicious. Our waiter, Josh, was the best. He went above and beyond to be attentive and accurate with any special requests. We ordered a desert to share and found out Josh’s mom makes...
Great local seafood spot. The food was exceptional. Baked Asiago-crusted halibut filet with a baked potato, fresh string beans and a salad is a highly recommended meal choice. The menu was varied with an emphasis on seafood dishes, appropriate for the locale. It is a regular stop for us when visiting Manzanita. Strongly recommended for your casual dining while after the beach.
Casual dining with friendly service and great food. The salad that came with our entrees exceeded expectations--nice mix of fresh lettuce and vegetables, presented well, crisp and tasty. I had the grilled halibut, which had a garlic butter treatment - cooked just done, tender and tasty. Glad they were open on a Wednesday!
