Honestly the food is very mediocre. Big portion sizes for the price which is great and the service and atmosphere is good, but I wouldn’t come back. Lack of flavor and textures were very off. Tried some of the flan but it was inedible, texture was just bad.

We went to dinner at El Trio Loco after long day at Manzanita Beach. The staff was welcoming and the atmosphere pleasing. Portion sizes were huge on all the orders, and every single item we ordered was great. We got hungry while waiting for food to arrive just by smelling all the delicious aromas from the kitchen and the neighboring tables.
A must-try if you're in the area!

Very solid sit-down Mexican spot. Stopped in on a Friday morning when it was pretty quiet, and the atmosphere impressed me right away — clean, nicely decorated, good music, and comfortable temperature. Service was friendly and attentive, though a little slow.
Chips and salsa were above average. The salsa had great flavor (a bit watery for my preference — I like it chunkier), but the seasoning on the chips made up for it.
I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas for two, and the portion was generous for the price. Presentation was excellent — sizzling hot with quality tortillas. The flavor leaned a little bland, but they provide plenty of condiments at the table (salt, pepper, Valentina, Tapatío, etc), so it was easy to adjust.
Overall, my expectations were low going in, but the attention to detail and overall experience surprised me. Solid 6.5/10 — good value, and I’d come back again.

Good Mexican food! Pretty typical Mexican food joint. Nothing special but everything we had was tasty and hot. The Pollo a la crema dish I got was good but could have used some more flavoring. Maybe some green chilies would have added some nice flavor.

We went yesterday.service was horrible . Shared the steak fajitas for 2 . They brought our beans and rice out . Then 5 mins later the meat and veggies ( barely any steak and burnt onions and peppers tasted horrible my wife could only eat one.) then 5 mins later they brought out the tortillas. By the time I got the tortillas to make a fajita the beans and rice were cold. Also the server said she was going to get the tortillas then proceeded to take 2 peoples orders before doing so. Just bad service I always tip good and I left 0.00$ tip.

It was nice to have an option for good Mexican food in a small town. The menu is expansive and we were impressed with the quality. Highly recommended.

Fun mexican restaurant, tasty food. We got the fajitas oaxaqueñas and the burrito loco, both were great and VERY filling.

I had the asada burrito. It was great. It was big enough for two people.

I had the Gran Jefe. Shrimp, beef, and two styles of pork with grilled vegetables. Every single thing was cooked perfectly. One of the best Mexican meals I've ever had, on the Oregon coast of all places. Delicious.
