Incredible pies. My boyfriend and I were passing through on a roadtrip and stopped to buy some mini pies. We ended up choosing the Marionberry pie and the Strawberry/Apple/peach pie. Both so so so tasty. We also got an apple cinnamon cake that was divine and so moist. This place is a must! I will be calling to see if they can ship me some pies!

After reading all the glowing reviews my wife and i stopped in for pie and coffee when they opened Wednesday morning. The first thing we noticed walking in the door, was that it didnt smell like anything had been baked here in a long time.
The pie crusts looked underbake so we passed on the pie.
ordered a coffee (very weak) and a snickerdoodle cookie that tasted like nothing but sugar.

We got the Rhubarb & Strawberry pie and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of filling, especially in relation to the dough. The filling was tasty and not too sweet!

Pies not thoroughly baked. The crust was soggy and stuck to the bottom of the tin. I ate a bite and thought I was a fool for not realizing I had to bake it myself. But no, they are baked. Also, I’m not even sure how to say this—the cookies had no flavor. I mean with sincerity there is no buttery flavor. Maybe made with crisco?

Beware the many 5-star reviews with photos of uneaten pie. Don’t rate food you haven’t eaten.

On a little getaway, we came across this local bakery and had to stop in to sample!
Amy graciously shared her recommendations along with a little history about Pete who even at 94, still comes in to the shop.

Bought a small peach pie and was so excited to have it open while in town. This was a terrible pie. The fruit was evenly cooked some almost raw. The crust was a gooey under cooked raw mess with the sides falling apart into crumbs. No butter in that crust it was tasteless.

I’m hesitant to give 3 stars but I don’t want to come off mean here. We bought a strawberry, blueberry, marionberry pie for $24. It wasn’t very good. The filling had flavor but was more fibrous than juicy. The crust was very undercooked on the bottom and crumbled off the edges (not in a good way). The tiny room which pies are sold is dark and feels like an old thrift store. We won’t be back.

Really delicious, moist, chewy cookies.

The pie we purchased and took home to eat last night was soft and mushy and did not taste like it had been made recently. The cookies were not good either. A disappointment, because my family used to always stop by this place.
