The pork chops were delicious with 2 amazing sauces! So many dessert options to choose from! We loved the pecan pie. The restaurant staff were so accommodating. A must go to iif visiting McMinnville!.

We loved eating out in the garden. All of the servers were excellent, and the chef knows what he/she is doing!

Second time there - just as impressive as the first. A wine list that is extensive and fairly priced.

Overall: mid to meh. Did not live up to the ratings. The good: Two starters--soup and salad (melon/prosciutto/arugula)--were excellent. Pleasant atmosphere. The bad: Service was scattered, frazzled, awkward. We had no dedicated waitperson; one server (no. 1) seated us and walked us through the menu in detail. Another server (no.2) took our order. When we asked for a wine recommendation, server no. 2 left to consult another server (Server no.3). Server no. 3 returned to our table w/ a bottle and a demeanor that said, "Drink this." We ordered three starters from server no.2. The first (soup) came out, followed by the salad, which we shared, and we assumed that the third--pork liver pate, the first item from the prix fixe I ordered--was en route. After the first two starters were cleared, server no. 3 removed the bread bowl and butter from the table, w/o explanation, and wished us a good evening. Then, the proprietor, who seemed to be overseeing everything, returned the bread and butter, w/o explanation. Long delay followed. No sign of server no.2. I asked another staff person (server no. 4) -- who I later realized was new and in training -- about the missing pate. She said she would check, and then proceeded to walk by our table three times without saying anything or making eye contact. After another delay, entrees came out, delivered by a runner (server no.5). I realized that my pate was not happening. By this time, I was feeling ignored and my displeasure had peaked. I got the attention of the proprietor and complained. They offered to bring out the pate (too late) or to pack it go. Pack it to go? Who wants to take pork pate (@9:00 pm) back to their B & B?!?! Server no. 2 and the proprietor apologized for the error. No adjustment to the bill was made, except to not charge for the pate. Our entrees were uninspired. The same sauce was applied to my order (salmon) as my wife's (divers scallops). It was too heavy.

The food is good but the portions are way too big for rich French food, in my opinion. Definitely split everything. The patio was very pleasant. The dog owner next to us decided that it was ok for their unleashed puppy to “visit” our table. The third time we said something and that didn't sit well. The restaurant said nothing about the incident. We were made to feel bad for not wanting the dog underfoot. The incident put a damper on an otherwise lovely evening.

Outstanding experience. My wife commented that she has NEVER been asked by a server if she was right or left-handed when setting down a waste bowl. Being left handed, this was an amazing accomodation for any possible southpaws, Wow!

This was our first visit and we had a wonderful meal. My husband said the duck was the best he ever had! The mussels, kale tart and shrimp and scallop dishes were also delicious. We devoured the fondue! We started with yummy spritzers and had a great reisling with dinner. We were well attended by the staff who were very friendly and prompt with service but we never felt rushed. We can't wait for our next visit!

Always a wonderful adventure and experience but especially so at a 5 pm booking, when things are just getting going. Quality of food is unsurpassed here and wine by the glass choices are thoughtful and many, many.

Absolutely fantastic meal at Bistro Maison. Warm beet salad was heavenly as was the rest of our repast. Order ala carte or off the menu de jour it's impossible to go wrong. Lovely setting in laid back McMinnville. Bon appetit!

The restaurant itself is quaint and cozy. The staff were all welcoming and polite with smiles. The food was absolutely amazing. I went home with leftovers and couldn't wait to eat them the next day! We will definitely be back.

A True Treat – So Good I Went Two Days in a Row! I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Bistro Maison in McMinnville, OR, and it was such a standout experience that I went back the very next day. The food is a celebration of classic French cuisine—elegant, flavorful, and clearly prepared with great care and talent. From start to finish, each dish felt like a warm invitation to linger and enjoy. The atmosphere is charming and intimate, and the service was consistently gracious and attentive without being overbearing. One of the real highlights was the thoughtfully curated local wine list, which perfectly complements the menu and showcases the best of the Willamette Valley. If you're anywhere near McMinnville and appreciate French food (or just truly excellent dining), Bistro Maison is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back again!
