Food was just okay. We have dined there three or four times. It used to be fantastic. I think the next time we come to the area we'll skip it. It was very busy so maybe just an off night. Go on the weekdays.

We had a terrific birthday celebration. The food was prepared to our liking. The service was attentive but not overbearing. Hands down, the best restaurant on third street in McMinnville, OR.

This place felt like someone invited you into their home and cooked you a delicious meal. We ordered the French Onion Soup, The Ravioli, and the Duck. Incredible meal. a bit pricy but after finishing the meal it was absolutely worth it. The service was not the best in terms of attentiveness, the atmosphere is more of a cozy cottage than anything so if the servers were more warm it could make this a 5/5. Instead I would give it a 4/5, I am of the mindset that if the food is THAT good you dont need to hold my hand during the menu dance. I will be back, maybe we were there on a busy night (Saturday @ 7pm). I recommend for people who like their food to taste good.

Bistro Maison is always a 5-star experience in every category, and this visit was no exception. From the delicious spritzers to outstanding desserts, our meal and service was top notch. The dining room was full and lively, all were having a delightful evening. Thanks and see you again soon!

From being able to make our reservation online, to ease of access at the location, to walking away sated and happy, it was great. Great location, service, menu selections, food -- all exceptional. If we lived in the area, we'd be back routinely.

A shop owner in McMinnville recommended this place to me and I'm so glad that she did. The service was great; our server was friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic! I had the shrimp and scallops, which were oh so delicious. My husband and I also had the truffle tapenade over goat cheese with crostini-divine! I highly recommend this restaurant. It's a hidden gem, and worth eating here.

Somehow I talked my boyfriend into going to this nice French restaurant after a long day of travel and wasn't sure if they would even seat us so late, but they were so gracious and didn't rush us through the meal at all. The food was excellent and by the time we left my boyfriend was so impressed, he wanted to return immediately. We will be back next time we visit for sure.

We had the mushroom spread as an appetizer, the soup special (very good), cassoulet maison (probably wouldn't order this again, as there are other things on the menu that would be better), miason burger (this was ok - you might want to order the burger with the foie gras) and the wild chinook salmon (this was the best item that was order).

It is the most authentic French restaurant in the Southwest Portland area.
