This is a nice upscale Mediterranean restaurant in the downtown area. I was with some omnis, so this place worked for everyone. They have a number of vegan options on the menu, and many that can be made vegan. Our waiter was fully versed in what vegan is.
I had my first visit just this last week and I was really happy to see what a great, healthy and delicious menu it has! 100% rating on all flavors! Chicken kebab, Moroccan mint tea, Mezza sampler and the chicory salad all have high quality ingredients. The value of that for me is why I can enjoy dining out these days. Not just a menu of burgers and fries or tacos that are easy to make at home. I will keep Cypress on my top list of local restaurants worth returning too! The service level of quality management is very enjoyable.
This is what the food in Heaven must taste like. Couldn't get enough. Everything was incredible and the owner was so generous.

We enjoyed a late lunch at Cypress; it was an unexpected 5 ⭐️ experience.
Everything came together from Michael’s service level to the decor/feel/music of the restaurant (it’s small) to the quality of the food & wine to the $$ value received.
A touch pricey but worth every $$!

I loved our dinner here. The homemade pita is the best I’ve ever had. I’ve never had paprika on hummus but it will be my go-to from now on. The salmon special was amazing. The staff were fantastic and attentive. They gave us great tips on what to order. Such a cute place!

For such a nice restaurant. Customer service was horrible. The woman who sat us, told us there was a reservation at 6 and she’d give us the table if we were done by then. Fine, I didn’t mind that. She had major attitude taking our order as if we personally wronged her. Sat our appetizer down, didn’t give us small plates. Asked if we were ready to order and quickly ran away?! Another woman came over a few minutes later to take our order. She was very pleasant but unfortunately our mood was already soured by the poor customer service so we paid and left. I had heard great things about this place and I was extremely disappointed at our experience. Not sure if I will come back and try again.

Small menu, but they are more than willing to veganize a meal for you. We had the hummus and pita bread - exceptionally good. I had the special of the day salad and added falafel, they took off the cheese from the salad, but I wish they could have added a little hummus to replace it. An after thought on my part. Salad was good, the falafel was a little over cooked but size ok. Service and atmosphere were great.

Wonderful restaurant! Staff is courteous and attentive. Food is absolutely delicious, earthy, and authentic. Honestly the best Mediterranean food I've had so far in Oregon. You can taste the ingredients and attention that goes into every recipe. The food tastes alive. Have been here several times before and they highly consistent in delivering truly delicious Mediterranean dishes.

We met family here for lunch outside. The food was tasty, perhaps a little pricy. Their service was very friendly and let us enjoy our conversations while still taking care of us. The pita bread warm and soft.

We've been eating at Cypress at least once a week since it opened. We've always enjoyed the food, which is pretty good for McMinnville. The staff and atmosphere are fantastic. However, in the past six months there have been some significant changes: they discontinued a full menu breakfast, which is a shame because they had the best pancake in town. The prices have also increased drastically. For instance, the Chicken Wrap was about $12 a year ago and is now priced at $22. The latest change, and what's ultimately going to keep us from returning, is a new $5 flat fee for any takeout order.

The service here is absolutely lacking. The waitress couldn’t have taken any longer to close our tab in an empty room. I watched her dry cups with a towel for an hour straight. I eat at extremely high end restaurants often, but even the worst joint in Portland wouldn’t let this amount of poor service slide. The least I could do is NOT have to WALK my OWN TAB TO THE LADY AT THE END OF THE BAR WHILE MY WAITRESS IS TOO BUSY GOSSIPING ABOUT NONSENSE TO NOT EVEN WORRY ABOUT A TIP. I’m absolutely disappointed and dissatisfied in every way imaginable.
Also; from someone who is considered a “regular” at some of the finest restaurants in Oregon for ex. Portland city grill…Your prices are unreasonable for the quality and portions of food. Yes I have money, please do better.

What I chose from the very limited menu selections was good and not too pricey. Wish the menu really had more Mediterranean foods and was more expansive. I've not seen such a limited menu anywhere else here in McMinnville. I suggest you heck the menu and ask about specials before you go.
