This is a must have if you love beer and are needing/wanting Gluten Free! Their beer is delicious!!! My non gluten free family after trying the Blonde all said “WOW!! No way this is gluten free!! This is good!!” Yes!! It is that good!! I personally prefer light beers and they have a great selection of lighter ones, among other darker beers to! They have lots to choose from! Something for everyone! Their customer service is way beyond amazing!!! My Husband and I had planned a spontaneous trip to McMinnville to visit their brewery for the 1st time. Our area had been hit hard with a snow/ice storm for a week and our area is not used to seeing that kind of weather. My husband and I had been cooped up indoors for a week and was looking to get out and go enjoy a delicious beverage. We live 1 1/2 hours away from the brewery and Unfortunately, due to weather and unforeseen circumstances the brewery was closed when we arrived. After reaching out to the company regarding the closure. One of the owners (Josh) reached out to me, and went completely over the awesome limit to super amazing awesome status. He had made arrangements to bring me out some of their amazing beer to Vancouver!! I’ve never seen a company go beyond and kindly do that!! That was unexpected and so greatly appreciated!! Thank you Josh!! I’m an Evasioner for life now!!! ??

So glad we stopped here on a hot summer day. We tried 4 different beers and enjoyed them all. We even came home with a few of our favorites. Our pup Rosie loved the friendly staff and being invited to be inside with the cool air conditioning. The GF beer bonus means we can bring some friends with us next time.

Great to have Evasion back open. We stopped in on their second weekend back open. The husband and wife owners are very friendly and helpful. We ordered their fruity beer flight and the hoppy beer flight. All are very good. My personal favorites are the blood orange, this is my party shirt and IPA #1.

Evasion Brewing was the latest McMinnville brewery I got to try lately. I do have to say the beer was fairly unique and very flavorful that made this brewery experience a positive one. The Batch 3 Imperial Barrel Aged Stout was very good with it's cinnamon, chocolate and bourbon highlights. Buckwheat was also involved in the making of this beer which is gluten-free but I do enjoy the Buckwheat flavor in general as it has a naturally sweet flavor to it. Investigating further into the brewery Google has it listed as temporarily closed and further prodding on my part on Facebook reveals that the owners have been doing well with the business but are deciding to sell it since they don't feel like they have the time to properly run it. I did not learn that new ownership has taken over the reigns yet. So it sounds like the taproom is closed but perhaps call ahead if possible to see if someone is there rather than going there to find the taproom not open. I have also spotted Evasion's products at select liquor stores like Total Wine and Beverage so that may be an option to explore with as well to try out their beer.

was visiting Portland a few weeks ago and found this beer in some little downtown store. I was instantly in love with this beer. Hophoria IPA and Light Lager. When I got back to Denver this week I began searching for. I talked to the distributor and he gave me the names of a few places. I was able to get a case of Light Lager. When I picked it up they told me you were closing your doors and moving out of country. I hope this brewery does not go away. Since going GF I have had many beers but nothing as stellar as Evasion...

The beer alone puts this place on the map. Super nice people also.

These folks absolutely rock their GF beer and they're great to talk to; go get some Evasion - I'm partial to the Blond!

I highly recommend Evasion. I am obsessed with their Blood Orange IPA. I have tried several blood orange beers (I love blood oranges and citrus) and this is the absolute best and true blood orange (so juicy!) It is the perfect hot weather beer for an enjoyable afternoon outdoors! I can't stop buying it. My favorite anytime beer offered is the North Blessed- found easily in stores around Portland if you can't make it to the brewery or prefer not to ship. I enjoy their limited offerings too. The Mazagran Imperial Stout caught my attention and also makes an interesting (strong) boozy float when mixed with ice cream. I liked the Air Hostess from the 60s as well- an enjoyable beer with a memorable name and look. Lastly, this brewery is friendly and has top-notch customer service...so give them a try!

The BEST GF beer on the market. Doesn't have that particular sub par GF taste others can't seem to do away with. I wish the Hophoria IPA were available in every bar and restaurant. So good!

Gluten free made me nervous but everything was amazing, especially the blood orange IPA
