This museum is wonderful, get there early and reserve a time for the guided tour of the Spruce Goose!! One building is aviation and the other is more space focused but there are some of the most recent planes still being used in the space museum. It was wonderful. There is a small lunch counter and a gift shop also. You will make memories that will last a lifetime!

Stepping into the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum in McMinnville, Oregon, is like embarking on a serene journey through time, where each meticulously polished aircraft, every gleaming engine part, propeller, and wheel whispers tales of daring innovation and dreams that soared beyond the confines of the earth. The pristine halls, guarded and cherished by vigilant staff, are not just corridors through history but gateways to the future, illuminating the path for the young minds of today. With the world's knowledge at their fingertips, these future pioneers gaze upon the marvels of human ingenuity, from the earliest sketches of flight to the sophisticated machines that now dance among the stars, and are reminded that the realm of possibility is boundless. This museum is not merely a collection of artifacts; it's a testament to the unyielding human spirit that constantly seeks to push beyond the known, reminding us all that the future of flight—and indeed, the future of humanity—promises to be a remarkable chapter in our collective story. To walk through its doors is to inspire the creative and innovative spirits of our youth, who, with today's technology in hand, will craft the next era of exploration at speeds once deemed unfathomable. This is a beacon of inspiration, a tribute to where we've been and a vision of where we're going, making it an essential pilgrimage for anyone touched by the dream of flight.❤️✈️

What a wonderful experience! Staff/volunteers were very friendly and informative. So much information along with visual stimuli. Took several hours to visit both buildings and see planes outside. Of course, the Spruce Goose was the star attraction!

My sister-in-law & I had the best time at Evergreen! We arrived early & stayed till late afternoon. What an amazing display of aircraft through the years. The Evergreen team directors, staff, preservation & volunteer teams have done an incredibly fine job of putting the exhibits in historical & current context. The exhibits are positioned for easy access & viewing. The buildings & grounds are ADA & so beautifully maintained & supre clean. The volunteer docents are eager to share of their knowledge & experience. You'll feel their enthusiasm & appreciate their willingness to share & help you enjoy your visit.Nothing prepares you for the immenseness of the Spruce Goose & Howard Hughes vision. The SG tour is pricey (in some respects) & the interior limits how much you can access & see. BUT, if you want to sit at the controls in Hughes's cockpit seat & grasp the throttle he did to complete that historic flight, it's worth the special price. My thanks to all at Evergreen for their commitment to maintaining these amazing aviation treasures & for their invaluable education services.

Amazing museum with an interesting and diverse collection of planes and space items. Plan on spending several hours here because there is just so much to see. The docents are friendly and informative as well.Completely worth it to buy the Spruce Goose tour also. Our tour guide is the grand nephew of one of the people who built the H4 and he gave us some unique insights.Such a great day!

This is a must see place if you are interested in aviation. The home of the spruce goose. The largest all wood plane in the world. You have to see it to believe how big it is.

Melanie Becker

The Spruce Goose is immense! You have to see it to believe it.
