I have been to this location a few times. I think a 4.3 average rating is perfectly fair (and wish that Google allowed .5/half-star ratings on their scale).

First thing first, there is no reasonable way to compare this place to Subway (see my comment at the end). Such an amazing sub shop. I used to always choose Subway and now after having firehouse subs, I see what a joke subway is compared to Firehouse Subs. My only regret is that it took me so long to try firehouse subs.

It's always a great day when I get to eat a Firehouse sub! The meat is the best of all of the sandwich shops, the bread is the absolute best! It's soft and full of flavor! The only thing I wish they had is cheddar cheese for cold sandwiches. Otherwise they're perfect
