Good place but food was better 10 years ago for sure. Id still go again but I'd be specific to what I want on my food. Less sour cream and more salsa and spice

The fajitas came with generous portions of delightful vegetables, and the dish was very very well seasoned. The pico de gallo and guacamole were not over salted, also wonderful! The staff is kind, warm, efficient. A very good lunch spot

The restaurant is a little smelly when they open. (Musty) When they start cooking, it goes away.

We dined here for my birthday this particular time. It's my favorite Mexican restaurant. Our waiter was inattentive once our order was placed even though they weren't very busy. Maybe they were short staffed. The food was yummy, but the SB margarita was weak ( had to ask for an additional shot ). This visit scores an " average" rating, but I'm not giving up on this place yet ! Hopefully, they'll do better next time.

We hadn't been out to eat in over 6 months due to budget constraints. The wife and I finally were able to save enough to go out to an early dinner, Saturday. Arrived about 3:00 pm, not too busy at all, got seated after a reasonable wait. Service was good, we made our order, food came in a timely manner. She had a Super Burrito and I ordered the Camarones Mexicanos.
My wife's Super Burrito was really good according to her and it looked it. My order looked good, but when I started to eat I realized that the shrimp had, not just a little shell down by the tail, but more than halfway up the body like they weren't peeled properly. So I separated the shrimp from the veggies and other things and started to peel them. They were either improperly cooked or something, because the shell was very hard to remove without shredding the shrimp.
I became frustrated, who likes having to pick up sauced shrimp to try to peel it, and was going to say something to our server, but she was nowhere to be seen. I didn't want to ruin dinner for my wife, so I decided to just eat the veggies and rice and beans w\tortillas. That is when I discovered that there were pieces of shell all through the veggies. So I sat and picked out the pieces I could find and spit out what I couldn't. During this time I was never able to get the attention of a server. I finally ate the beans and rice and took the rest home to try to salvage; it ended up in the garbage!!
This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but I feel like I wasted my time and money yesterday and I left feeling sorry I went there. We probably won't return, as Mexican shrimp dishes are my favorites.

For us it started with the salsa right away. We prefer a chunkier style and it wasnât that way. Real runny and not spicy at all. We shared that we had never been there before but that the name is what drew us there. Molcajete. We love a good seafood molcajete. This one was very disappointing. None of the ingredients seem to make sense being all together and the tails left on the shrimp forcing you to put your hands in your food. Yuck. The tortillas were a joke. We were asked if we wanted corn or flour and when we asked if they were handmade we were told ânot on the weekendsâ! Well, they were disgusting. We got the corn tortillas and you couldnât roll them up, they were cruncy and broke and cold and were not pliable at all. We then asked to switch to flour tortillas and unfortunately, it was the same exact experience! Truly disappointed that a Mexican style restaurant doesnât have fresh handmade tortillas or keeps that as a priority! There was no action taken to try and make the experience better. Truly disappointing and we will not be going back or recommending this establishment to anyone.
