Even with no bathroom in rooms, they're still nice comfortable and clean rooms. Each room is individually themed. Mason Jar in rooms to.bring beer back to your room. Friendly staff throughout the property. Went down.to pub around 5pm to inquire about coffee. Bartender was really friendly and helpful and allowed me to sit at a table and enjoy a cup of coffee even though that's all I ordered. Conveniently located in downtown, walking distance to local shops.
We stayed for one night in one of the queen bed rooms with shared bathroom. We love staying at Mcmenamins so it sort of just is what it is with the shared bathroom but I almost never run in to people so it’s not a big deal and they are clean and nicely maintained. I had my mountain bike with me and the front desk did offer to keep it stored in the basement so I didn’t need to leave it on my truck but there was actually a nice space for it in the room so I kept it there. Stayed with my friend last Sunday night (Labor Day weekend).
The hotel was beautiful & the bed was quite comfy.
The lady that was working down in the cellar bar ignored my friend & I while we stood there at the bar waiting for 10 minutes. Two women came up next to us & she immediately went to them & helped them. And then ignored us again & went to the other side of the bar. We decided to go somewhere else 🤷♀️
