Had a great Lamb Gyro, and unlike a lot of gyro places these days it was not drowning in that odd spicy garlic sauce that has become popular. The lamb was well seasoned chunks, and not shaved off a big turning spit. Not a down side, as the lamb was well cooked and great.
Got a side of hummus, and it was really good, and the pita it came with was nicely seasoned as well, which was a nice touch. I think it was Za'atar.

First time eating here, I was so hungry. Guy asks if I know what I want, I said I'm starving, he says, 'lamb gyro?', I say yes please. Fresh veggies, perfectly cooked lamb and the tastiest sauce you can make for a gyro.
10/10 would recommend.

Wow! The food is absolutely great, you can tell care and consideration went into this. This is NOT just another sub-par Mediterranean cart with a pre-made menu serving up processed crap. Their lamb was roasted, not ground and tender! Their hot sauce is also the best I've ever had from a Mediterranean joint.
The employee was also friendly, knowledgeable and totally willing to chat about the ingredients to help me avoid an allergy exposure.
After trying this, I don't know why anyone in town goes to the Cypress for their gyro fix. Omar's has my business forever.
