A Must-Visit Lunch Spot in McMinnville!
Every time I visit McMinnville, this restaurant is at the top of my list—and once again, it did not disappoint! In fact, my friend and I loved it so much that we had lunch here twice during our trip.
The corn chowder was absolutely fantastic—so creamy with just the right amount of seasoning. My friend enjoyed the ½ Turkey Sandwich, while I devoured the Chicken Cashew Salad, which was fresh and delicious. The broccoli cheddar soup was just okay, but the tomato vegetable soup was a standout, according to my friend. And let’s not forget the in-house wheat bread—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to our meal.
Our waitress, Andrea, was incredible! I highly recommend asking for her—she was attentive, friendly, and made our experience even better.
To finish, we split a lemon cupcake—our only regret was sharing it! It was perfectly moist, and the cream cheese icing was out of this world.

The Sage has been a staple of my McMinnville dining experience since middle school, and there are many good reasons they’re still around! Serving homemade, quality food in the heart of downtown, they dish out some of my favorite rainy day comfort dishes (hello, broccoli soup!) and options that I’ll never get sick of (aah, the Gobbler sandwich! the Sage salad!). The staff is incredible, skilled, and so kind; they’re engaged with our community and always look for ways to give back.
I can’t say enough good things about The Sage. If you want classic McMinnville, this is it!

I met the Owner who’s very Friendly and nice Lady. Since it’s my first time dining at her Restaurant I asked for recommendation- I tried their salad with Red wine vinaigrette dressing. Superb!

Visiting the area. I had the Trauma salad with 1000 Island Dressing. Delicious!!! Lettuce was so fresh! My friend had half club sandwich. The bread was so fresh and portion was very generous. We were so hungry and it looks so good. We forgot to take pictures so I apologize.

I’ve been eating here for at least 20 years, excellent limited menu,the soup /sandwich combo is always delicious and I love the wheat bread with the soup. I did get the shrimp salad to go for dinner as well.
