My first time visiting this vineyard was magical. A friend of mine and I got lost driving in southern Oregon. Somehow we ended up stumbling on a street that had many people selling fresh fruits and veggies from their homes. We kept driving down this street, and it honestly felt like we were in Alice in Wonderland just going down the rabbit hole filled with wonders. We finally ended up at this vineyard. Upon arrival I noticed how large the front doors were, and how they were made of a good wood. I opened the doors and two huge Akita's that looked like wolves approached me. They were the most beautiful creatures I had ever seen and so friendly. The sommelier was knowledgeable, kind and gave me a wine so smoky it tasted like steak. Literally. The year, season, and environmental changes determine a wine so it's needless to say that this particular wine was definitely a limited edition, and Spangler hasn't made one like it since. When I tell you that I searched high and low for a wine similar and I could not find any remotely close. At the time I only got two bottles. Now I wish I would've gotten more. Since then, I have joined their wine club and truly enjoy their wines. They are so delicious, drinkable, and unique. Not to throw shade, but main stream store bought wines do not even begin to compare to these wines. Don't get me wrong, I have my favorite store bought wines too, but these are made the Spangler Vineyard way. The only way you can get these wines is through their website. Spangler Vineyards is my favorite vineyard, and I plan to continue business with them for a long time.

Kiely was our server-she was fairly new but did a nice job in reviewing the wines. Cute tasting room. We found the wines excellent and more robust than we were expecting which in our opinion is a good thing! Would definitely return.

Zero customer service - dark dated tasting roomAfter waiting to see anyone working there - we were greeted by the owner? Who needs to brush up on his customer service and people skills and we proceeded to walk out. He lost out on a party of 6 from out of the area.

Great tasting. Pat makes some exceptional wines. We are never disappointed.

Yikes. Come for the wine, stay for the anti-immigrant, anti-vaccine, anti-minimum wage rantings from the owner. Free speech isn't free of consequence - I won't be back to support this lunatic.

went to pu some almond champagne which I had tasted and loved. Tasting room hard to find, very unkept, both inside and out. Bathrooms were very dirty. Definetly needs some tender loving care. would not want to wine taste there, very outdated, dark and cold. atmosphere and environment does not give customers an enjoyable experience.

We stopped in here based on a recommendation from a local while visiting the area. A quant small winery near Roseburg. The outside is a little unassuming. Inside is a nice tasting room with some big, forward tasting reds. They had a few that I would easily put up against 3/4 of the wines out of the Napa/Senoma areas. Definitely worth a checkout.

We stopped at Spangler Winery on our way to the Oregon coast. There was only one other couple in the tasting room & the man pouring was practicing safe distancing and wearing a mask. The wine was very good and we bought several bottles.

I loved every single wine I tried! Even got spoiled with extra samples and ended up buying the bottles. Bob was so fun and personable as a pourer and I even got to meet Patrick the owner. Great spot, great wine, great people! Glad I stopped!

This tasting room is a bit of a hidden gem. while marginally difficult to find, ultimately it is worth the journey.

Staff was nice and courteous. Found a table out on their back patio. The decor is a bit run down and their clientele appears to be quite older (i.e. geriatrics with walkers, so just be alert and cautious when walking around inside). The wine tasting is free for a reason. Meh wine with some that were downright terrible. I do not recommend stopping here and wasting your time when there are quite a few other wonderful wineries close by.

Not a great experience. They claim to be kids friendly but not even close after making comments about our kids having to stay in one spot. They literally yelled at me that the door needed to stay shut assuming I opened it just because I was standing by the door. Other than that, wine is ok. Ugh.
