My friend and I visited for a tasting led by Jack. We had a wonderful time! The tasting room is welcoming and the wines are great. The highlight was chatting with Jack and hearing his story. I would love to visit the vineyard in Grants Pass someday. I would highly recommend a visit!
Jen was our somelier! She was SO kinda, informative and gave great service. She threw in an extra tasting and we bought two bottles of the Glou Glou wine. We loved every minute of our experience- would highly recommend!
I just love their biodynamic wines, really high quality and so tasty
Went to Troon recently and had an outstanding time. Desiree led our wine tasting and was really excited to tell us all about the wine and the mission that Troon represents. The service, the ethos, all of it, blew us away. We love what you guys are doing!
Desiree is the best ever!
I LOVE this place! First off, besides the wine being delicious/unique /so refreshingly different, the tasting room is beautiful and so fun to relax and sip wine in. You can taste the difference and care in their wine. The staff is superb. I've had Ruth and Sophia as tasting experts and they were phenomenal! So friendly, generous and took the time to explain each wine with such knowledge. Everyone else is wonderful too - Ryan and Meg. Thanks Troon! So glad I joined the club!
Had a wonderful wine tasting experience at Troon! Jen is so knowledgeable about the wines, vineyard, farm, and regenerative organic agriculture. This was truly a highlight of our girls' weekend. Can't wait to enjoy more wines from Troon! ?
I took my mother here for her birthday after scoping the venue out on my own a few weeks before. Jen went out of her way to make our experience wonderful. The wines are unique and flavorful, which is such a wonderful break from the sometimes monotonous din of "pinot and chardonnay" the valley can be known for.
Truly, Troon is a location worth visiting again and again, for the fantastic wines, curated experiences, and phenomenal staff - in equal measure.
The elegantly designed tasting room in downtown McMinnville is convenient, roomy yet comfortable. An ideal location for wine enthusiasts with limited time or transportation.
The wines were all amazing and the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend making the stop here - give yourself 90 minutes to taste all their wines. We didn't have a bad one among all we tried and bought 4 bottles.
I recently visited Troon Vineyard in McMinnville and had a fantastic time. The tasting room is absolutely stunning, making it a great place to relax and enjoy some wine. The staff were super friendly and really knew their stuff, which made the tasting experience fun and informative.
The wines were amazing. I loved their biodynamic organic red and white wines, each one with unique flavors that showed the quality and care they put into making them.
Overall, Troon Vineyard is a must-visit if you're in the McMinnville area. Whether you're a wine aficionado or just looking for a nice afternoon, you won't be disappointed.

Just had 2019 tannat with chicken pesto lasagna, salad, terro rolls in Kauai Hawaii. Perfect! ??
Whether you're new to wine, a seasoned sommelier, or just looking for a nice spot to spend a little time while in Mac, look no further. Troon's wine is great - no pretense, just quality and passion for the process, but honestly it's the people that make it worth your time. Every member of the staff here in Mac is friendly and knowledgeable. Spend 30 minutes in here and you'll find you have a new best friend that just happens to know a lot about wine. Have a kid? Bring them in. Game night? There's space. AC and chilled white wine on a hot summer day? You've got it. Whether you're a member or not, you'll love your time here...and you'll probably end up a member. Enjoy their charcuterie, have food delivered from the GF brewery next door, or bring a pizza in (maybe even throw a slice to your new best friend, they like pizza too). Dressed up or dressed down, make this a must in Mac.

Loved this place! Great location, super friendly. Wines are made differently (Biodynamic) and fruit forward, lots of variety, flavorful but not overly tannic or oaky flavored. Thanks Troon!
2023 review: Had a great tasting experience with Raul at their McMinville tasting room on a warm June afternoon. Tasted a wide range of what they offer these days (and very different from 4 years ago) and listened to a local guitarist that was warming up for an evening chow in town. Enjoyed their charcuterie platter during our time there and had a wonderful time!2019 review:We became Wine Club Members at the winery in the Applegate Valley in southern Oregon in May, primarily due to the great wines & the tasting room in Carlton (we live in Portland). Stopped by today and had a wonderful experience, tasting the wine, enjoying a meat/cheese plate & getting to know the staff. Sat outside in the courtyard under an umbrella covered table. And enjoyed the sunshine! This is a great winery for bold southern Oregon wines that are a great break for the Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs. Stop by and enjoy all they have to offer!
