This place is a bright spot. I’ve never had a galette and it was delicious and felt decadent after the disappointing morning I had. I showed up hangry and the absolutely lovely waitress suggested a wine similar to her gorgeous hair color and, impressively, smoothed another bump when I wasn’t able to get the dessert I wanted. The hotel is lucky to be connected to them.
The place is nice, food and service not so much. It took too long (waiter was super nice, but food took too long)We waited about 1 hour to get the Entree, first time we ordered and they came back saying that they didn't have it available (NY steak) we ordered something else. Delightful lunch at Wooden Heart! We tried the Soppressata pizza and it was incredible. The wood-fired crust was perfect, with a light char that added a smoky nuance. The pizza is a perfect balance of sweet and spicy.
