It's rare for me to write reviews, and I typically only do so when my experience is superb, or the reverse. Talent, Oregon is SO fortunate to have Daddy Ramen in our community! I first enjoyed the House Ramen when a friend left it at my doorstep when I was not feeling well earlier this year. Total comfort food! Now, in the midst of the "Stay at Home" order we are all living with during this pandemic, I am so grateful that take out food is still available to us. On Saturday, my partner and I ventured over to Daddy Ramen and arrived just as they were closing. Despite them having everything cleaned up and put away for the day, their response was (with a smile, I might add!), "If you are hungry, we will feed you." While that was incredibly kind, we decided to return another day and that day was today. My partner and I both ordered the House Ramen (I loved it the first time, and wanted to try it again), and I was as delighted this time as I was the first time. Healthy food is important to me. Perfectly cooked home-made noodles; rich, flavorful home-made broth; incredibly tender pork; carrots and corn; and I love the addition of the egg which was cooked to perfection. Presentation is an art form and theirs is beautiful! I felt pampered by the care that was put into every aspect of their offering. The parking lot was dotted with patient customers, happy to wait for their delicious meal. One customer sat waiting on the tailgate of his truck; a young father and his young daughter stood laughing and playing while waiting, a couple with their young son sat on a nearby picnic table under a tree, smiling at us as our eyes met; two females walked up for their order-to-go; another couple waited in their car as did my partner and I -- everyone smiling as they waited for their home-made food. When we stepped up to place our order, the first words out the owners mouth were, "You came back!" He remembered we had stopped just as they were closing a few days earlier. Nice! My partner is Chinese American. It's been a long time since I've seen him take out chop sticks to eat anything, and he brought them out for this ramen. He is also one of the most particular eaters I know, with a knack for noticing the most subtle flavors and energetic quality in food. I asked, "So, what do you think of it?" to which he responded, "It's good. I like it!" I followed up by asking, "Any criticisms?" because usually there's at least one improvement he feels can be made. His response? "No. It's good. I like it. It's tasty." Thank you, Daddy Ramen, for offering healthy food to your community, and for making it with love. We felt it! (And, to those reading this, no, I do not know the owners. I am simply a happy, grateful, returning customer.)

The owner is super cool, and very friendly!! Between the 4 of us we sampled almost everything in the menu. It was all fantastic! The Mac n cheese ramen is all you need in life!!!

Very nice people. Their pictures look delicious. Traveled 25 minutes and spent 26$ for food that was nowhere near worth it. Overpriced, unsalted chicken noodle soup

Tried it based on the reviews. Found it extremely bland and underwhelming. Maybe people were generous with their reviews because of them being eco conscious with a pay it forward program in place? Maybe friends reviewing? Don’t know, but I felt it was a waste of $11 for something that was comparable to a 69 cent packet of Top Ramen with tasteless veggies floating in it. Very disappointing.

This is the first time I got Ramen and it was not oversalted. What a treat. It made the flavors more noticeable. Altogether a great dish. Plus the wantons were amazing. The crab flavor was just right.Definitely

Amazing food, the staff is very nice and I like how they are earth friendly by using recycicable stuff. The food is prepared with care and they really care about the food and customers. I honestly think if you have spare time you should come to Daddy Ramen.

Yummm... Outstanding loving bowls of complex tasty goodness. Friendly open hippie vibe. Lichen and Phoenix are High Priests in the Church of Ramen...and we are gifted to have them in Medford.... although at every communion at their truck window I try to convince them to hold services in Ashland. 6 bowls of their various ramen delights have been purchased...but only 1 has been shared.
