Very cute place. The service was wonderful. I had an espresso martini and The Rose & they were both amazing. We had the pork belly appetizer and it was one of the best things I've ever had. The salads were great and fresh. My husband got the filet mignonand it was perfect! I got the lamb & it was sadly overcooked from what I ordered but everything else on the plate was amazing so I was still able to eat it fine and they were so great about it when we let them know. The desserts were top-notch and we got the cherry cobbler and the lavender crème brûlée. We will be back.

We were traveling and staying in Medford. When we were looking for a place to have dinner, Decant came up. We saw the 4.9 review rating - then the menu - then called for reservations. SOOOO glad we did. They were able to accommodate our earlier than usual eating time (they open at 4, I think.)
My husband had shared that it was our anniversary when making reservations. From the time we entered until we left, it was a most delightful and perfect experience!! They immediately acknowledged our anniversary (almost all of the time it is not even acknowledged.) Our server, Edward, was outstanding - greeting us, answering questions about the menu, serving us - etc. He spoke so we could understand him (often it's the umpteenth time the server has shared the info and it's shared so quickly that a person can't catch it all nor retain it!)
My husband had the lamb, and I had the halibut dish - soo unique, sooo delicious. Each bite was savored and enjoyed. When a dish is served, the server shares about the dish!
Yes, we splurged on dessert and were not disappointed (and we are very particular about desserts !
Truth be told, I was in tears at the end of our meal - It was a delicious, relaxing time - just perfect (and evidently what I needed.)
We had one concerning thought - that the music was too loud; with that said, we were able to visit with each other comfortably.
We know where to go for dinner in Medford and would make a special trip/spend the night to do it again.

We very much enjoyed our visit -staff attentive and overall everything ordered was very tasty. Seasoning (ie salty components) pushed upper limits on BBQ tri-tip and mushroom soup. Disappointment -hubby was wanting their steak and fries - we were told their happy hr menu was inclusive to other menu. So after ordering etc -some else was served steak and fries. We were not informed on things adequately. They graciously celebrated a birthday with a cherry cobbler for birthday person- very appreciated. When in area will come back.

This is my go to place in Medford. Jessica and Carey run an amazing establishment. The food has always been great. Love the menu choices and the new chef has taken it up a notch with only the most delicious fresh ingredients. Service is excellent with attentive staff always willing to provide a recommendation for both food and beverage. The weather was great and I'm happy I reserved an outdoor seating. I'll be back again soon!
Decant is back, and better than ever. There's a new chef and the menu is diverse and exciting. Every dish we had was exceptional; the service was impeccable; we were delighted.

We were excited to try this restaurant based on their farm to table model. The entrées were excellent, yet could have included more sides for the price. The appetizers were very disappointing. We ordered the mushroom soup and the crab tartlet. Both were extremely salty, and we could not distinguish any other flavors. The tartlet was extremely small for the price. The desserts were lovely and so were the mocktails. The staff was very kind and helpful, and everything was clean. This place is a bit too expensive to try again.

The romantic ambience for our wedding anniversary celebration was nice, and we also appreciated that we didn't have to dress up to attend. The staff were kind, professional and friendly. It did take a while to get our entrees, but the appetizers were quickly delivered. Dessert is a separate menu that comes out later unless requested sooner. Portion sizes were reasonable for an upscale dining experience. The food was delicious and creative; we are thankful to have a restaurant like this nearby!
