We went to Edenvale for the honey and mead festival. The only food available was from the winery's kitchen, so we ordered a flatbread pizza and charcuterie plate... and waited an hour to be served. We were not given any indication of the delay when we ordered, and when we started asking about our order half an hour into our wait were repeatedly told it was coming soon. Minimal apology and no effort to make it right. I don't know if everyone's service was this poor or we were a special case.
I can't comment on the wine - there was no way we were paying for a flight after our experience.

Last week (August 2024) I served my dinner party a bottle of Edenvale's 2003 Syrah. I acquired the bottle almost 20 years ago and had worried that I had held onto it too long, especially since I had stored it under far from ideal conditions in several residences as I moved about during my career. But the wine was a marvel and deeply rewarding -- big and generous with beautifully integrated tannins and undiminished freshness. (I just wish I had put away more than one bottle.)

We stayed one night in our 38' motorhome plus 10' cargo trailer. The parking area is huge, hardpacked dirt (may get muddy when rainy, as there was evidence of ruts) The wines in our mixed flight (3 whites & 3 reds) were very good! We had the fruit & cheese board, also very fresh and delicious. We purchased a glass each of our favorites, from the flight and ended with a bottle of the Pear Cider to purchase. Bri was an excellent sommelier and very attentive to all the guests in a casual manor that was welcoming. We will stop again when passing through.

Overall, alright. Small portions for the wild price, the wine is all local good with some good taste and aromas. The property is awesome with great history. Like everything else in the USA, under staffed but great people working it.
