I’ve visited Great Harvest Bread Co. in Medford twice now, and both times were genuinely great. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the comforting aroma of fresh-baked bread—it instantly makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a friend’s warm, welcoming kitchen.
I had the turkey breakfast sandwich on both visits, each time with a different type of bread, and every bite was just perfect. It’s amazing how each bread brings out a different flavor profile—always fresh, always satisfying.
I also love their Trek Bar—a delicious, wholesome treat that’s both energizing and tasty.
The staff deserves a shoutout too. They’re consistently friendly, attentive, and truly go the extra mile to make your experience better.
This place has quickly become one of my favorites in Medford. Highly recommended!

The Avocado toast was disappointing and very expensive for toasted bread and a little bit of avocado.
I'll go again and try a sandwich next time.

Came for a sandwich in the morning. Had the roast beef on wheat. It was good and fresh but the free slice of cinnamon bread was to die for.

Update: I always order the half sandwich and was given a stamp card when I ordered one. The next time I presented my stamp card for the half sandwich I was informed that its only for full sandwiches but that she'd do it just this once. Like...I wasn't trying to take advantage, was just using the card in the same way that it was given to me by an employee. Another example of inconsistent training.
OP:
I came here pretty regularly about a year ago, always getting the turkey goddess sandwich but I stopped because the sandwich was made so inconsistently. I never knew if I was going to get so much sauce that its dripping out the sides, or so little sauce I couldn't even taste it. And since never knew what I was getting, I couldn't order "heavy sauce" or "light sauce" not wanting to accidentally make the heavy sauce even heavier (made that mistake once and had to remove whole spoonfulls of sauce) or the light sauce even lighter.
Anyway I gave it some time and I've now been back 3 times and...I guess nothings changed. Last two sandwiches were reasonable and todays is super sauce heavy so its dripping out and all over the wrapper.
Seems like a little thing but it makes me not want to come back...again...when you could just train people to make the same sandwich every time like every other restaurant...

I had a poblano soup, grilled cheese, and an iced chai latte with cold foam. It was DELICIOUS! The owner was friendly and introduced herself! The atmosphere was cozy!

Delicious, tasty food served fast and friendly! Grab a muffin. Buy a scrumptious loaf of fresh baked bread. Get a cookie and a scone for later. Or a fresh made sandwich (for lunch a bit later). Take it from me you won’t find any better. (Get a hot drink, it is sweata-weatha!)
Wow! How did I not know about this place? After my initial meal of a bowl of tomato basil bisque and a turkey goddess sandwich, I want to return to try one of everything else on their menu! The only downside to this scrumptious den of glorious breads, soups and sandwiches, is trying to decide which one (or several) to order. You will not leave disappointed...or hungry!
