I was surprised to see a mediterranean place here after living for a while so I wanted to check it out. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon when there was a closed sign, yet they were open and taking orders. I proceeded to wait for about 10 minutes in the empty cafe' with one customer sitting at a table waiting for their order. There was no one in front, not a bell to ring etc.
My order was finally taken by the guy who seemed a little discombobulated but he was the only person working so whatever. I was unerved by how it seemed he was not changing his gloves or washing hands in between handling the register. While I waited for my order I noticed how dusty and unkempt the place seemed. My water was handed to me in a disposable plastic backyard barbecue type of cup. I hoped that my falafel wrap would be decent at least by the looks and feel of the place. Came out 15 minutes later, I paid and ate outside. I honestly was not impressed and still creeped out. Soggy lettuce I had to peel off, interesting falafel mixture. Just seeming a little unfresh in general. For a restaurant that is just not a negotiable. I'm shocked at the great reviews, maybe it was once amazing and went downhill. Not really worth it :/

Came here on my hour lunch break and ordered a falafel sandwich that was supposed to take 10 min and was 11.95 with tip that I paid on my card.
Finally checked on the food after almost half an hour and was told the fryer was acting up and she offered my money back which I was happy to accept. She said she wasn't authorized to refund cards so she handed me a $10-meaning I'm out $1.95 and got to rush back to work on an empty stomach.
My friend enjoyed his food though so maybe I'll try again.
P.S. Throw the dead houseplants away-its not a good look.
Super quaint little place and great to just get away for a little lunch, great service such a sweet owner super nice guy and fantastic food! so much had to take half of it home and it was just a sandwich!

The people the run the hidden door cafe are some of the friendliest and most courteous people I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with, lending much to the mom and pop vibes of the atmosphere. The food is flavorful yet refreshing, filling but not too much. The plates are beautiful and smell amazing.
Parking: Open plaza for free parking. The actual restaurant is hidden in the back of the plaza much suting their clever name. The hidden door cafe is an exceptional choice for anyone looking for a refreshing yet flavorful lunch!
Kid-friendliness: Open and accepting for all ages stages and families!
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to navigate wide open spaces in the outside seating of the restaurant.

Hidden Door Cafe surprised me! Tucked away it might be, but their food is a delicious find. I dove into their Athens Style Gyro and was impressed. The meat was perfectly seasoned and shaved thin, nestled in a warm pita with fresh veggies and a cool tzatziki sauce. It was everything a gyro should be. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. You won't break the bank enjoying a flavorful and filling meal here. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Gyros were delicious with good pricing. The cook was quirky and funny, working on his own as there was a coworker absent this day and had to make due as the only employee making it all work. Menu had a large variety.

Extremely overpriced for the quality of food. Do not get the falafel.

Worst food I've had in a long whole. Heard the microwave go about 4 times while ordering a 13$ plate of food.

We very much enjoyed the food. It was the best Mediterranean style food we had had in a while. It was beautiful and delicious. The atmosphere is kind of small and uncomfortable but everything else, including the service was amazing.
