The food is great but far too often, like today, they’re randomly closed. I never make plans to eat here with friends because of how frequently they have some sign like this in the door, or are closed down for 2 months, or whatever. It’s impossible to predict when they’ll be open, so unfortunately it isn’t worth my time to stop by anymore.

Cozy little place tucked into and old building in downtown Medford. Don't let the minimal menu keep you away - because what they do have is quite good. We tried the shrimp & pork shumai, chicken Pad Thai and Duck Noodles (as the pork noodles had sold out even before we arrived for early dinner!). The food was excellent, with crunchy fresh and tasty carrots, romaine leaves, &/or other appropriate veg alongside (the sweetness of the carrots with the umami of the sauce on the duck... mmmm). Hubby says it's dangerous - he works close enough to walk there for lunch. That means he will have to start working his way through the menu, 😆 Sorry, we were not thinking of pix or reviews tonight. I can't go back in time for pix, but had to give a rave review. So many Thai places in Rogue Valley, but this one tops the rest for us so far.

I woke this morning on my birthday sick with a cold. When my husband said, what do you want to do today? I told him, find some pumpkin curry. I googled and found Kin Thai. My hubby did take out and that was when my birthday went from disappointing to incredible!!! For less than $20 I was served a quart of pumpkin curry (I added shrimp) and it was loaded!!!! It was PERFECT! Years ago in California I tried Pumpkin Curry but have never had another one as good. Until now! After eating I felt so much better! The mild heat of the curry helped clear my sinuses and made me a very happy birthday girl. Kin Thai is now my favorite Rogue Valley restaurant. And let me tell you, my husband ordered the Egg noodles, bbq pork and wontons and it was insanely delicious as well. Until next time Kin Thai!!

Delicious! Flavorful!
Four of us shared the Panang Curry, Yellow Curry, and Egg noodles with BBQ pork and wontons. It was delicious and filling. Plenty to share with leftovers. The Panang and Yellow Curry were our favorite. The egg noodles with BBQ pork was a little richer for my preference, but I appreciate the fresh veggies.
