I specifically told myself I was going to take the time to leave this review after my visit last night. I only remember reading the cashiers name Nick, who seemed to be new as he received help from a male coworker who came to the rescue with answers and professionalism. I am a patronage of Panera as we have them all over back home in Florida. I brought my spouse and this was a first time visit for him and I couldn't be more happier with the experience. All though we arrived late I placed a mobile order to get the bogo5 deal but also had an instore order, they were nothing but helpful. I had contact with Nick ( cashier) , the gentleman who came to help (not the one on drive thru) and also a young lady in the back. I couldn't be more impressed with their kindness and actual genuineness to not only help each other but to perform work and take pride in it and not just there to collect a paycheck. As I mange a few restaurants and I definitely know how that can be. Hiring manager hats off to you but mostly thank you to the 3 staff last night on 10/21/2024 at 8:30 p.m. YOU GUYS ROCK! Keep up the good work and I truly appreciate your kindness and chat and going above and beyond to create a great dining atmosphere! Hope you get to see this too and know that I'm talking about you :) people always go to leave reviews when something is bad and never when its good so I told myself I have to take the time to leave a review!
Thank you Panera Medford, will be seeing you soon especially as I'm now part of the sip club :)

I went in with my boyfriend on a Monday night around 7:30. Posted hours show they close at 9pm on Mondays. Half the tables already had chairs put up on the tables which is not welcoming or inviting even for takeout. We planned to eat there but the environment was so cold and uninviting that we opted for takeout. I ordered a cinnamon roll, Mac and cheese, and a caprese sandwich without lettuce. We were the only people in there and still waited around 15 minutes for that. The bag did not have a cinnamon roll in it so I asked the guy at the pickup counter and he seemed annoyed and rudely asked if I placed the order at the front counter, which I did and it was even on the receipt that the same guy literally just handed me on the bag of food. When I got home and checked my caprese sandwich, it was literally just tomato, garlic aioli, and some mozzarella. No basil and no balsamic glaze as advertised. While it tasted fine, it was missing literally half of the ingredients?? Overall this place is slow, unwelcoming, and the staff is very off putting between the rude/confrontational comments/questions from the seemingly incompetent staff and the empty environment that looks like it’s intentionally set up to invite people to leave long before closing. Overall unpleasant experience and it saddens me to see a place SO dead right in the middle of dinner hours.

Orders have been delayed by 30-45 minutes every time I’ve ordered rapid pick-up ahead of time. Staffing issues seem common. Would not recommend dining in or carrying out if you are hoping for your meal to be ready in a reasonable amount of time.

I ordered a grilled cheese with cheddar and chicken and I got a grilled cheese with just American cheese. Didn’t realize until I got home. Thanks for ruining my night Panera ☺️

We were so excited to try Panera, only to be disappointed ? the bread was dry & over toasted. Our lunch cost us $28 ? and we only had water to drink.
We will not be back!

Not enough employees to fully function. Could not use drive through, No one at counter to provide customer service or take an order, had to use kiosk. Beverages in dispensers were empty, not many customers here.. sad. No one spoke to me at all..Hope the food is good. I am sure I won't be back.

Fast, friendly service. Clean building and parking lot. I ordered the Toasted Garden Caprese sandwich and it was delicious. I would definitely eat here again!

It's been ages since this place has opened and without a fail they continue to get things wrong or just completely forget things in orders. I've given them 3 chances with significant lengths of time in between, with literally no improvement. Tonight is the last time they'll recieve my buisness.

This food is absolutely not worth the money, the customer service is not the time, and overall the 99% probability of running into a mistake on your order is not worth the hassle.

Save your money and take your buisness elsewhere.

This place is quite a decent choice for a meal. I ordered a sandwich and soup, but the complimentary bread served with the soup was nearly as hard as a rock. I struggled a bit with the kiosk featuring those flashy buttons I have to grab, but I eventually figured it out. It would be great to have some shade at the kiosk station by the window, as I felt like I was battling the sun while making my selection. However, the atmosphere is lovely, with a spacious layout and comfortable seating, not to mention mostly friendly staff. Overall, I will definitely return and recommend it to others.

Part of a group order — I can’t begin to describe how disappointing my sandwich was. I felt terrible that my client paid $17 for this “sadwhich,” which contained less a small smattering of steak and vegetables. Save your money: skip this Panera.
