What a mistake. Food was less than mediocre, dirty napkin and table; shabby in general, which is a shame because the service was the saving grace. Fox News says it all regarding ambiance. I had bland eggs, greasy hash browns, limp bacon and mold on the side of my toast. Not interested in returning.

Great little hole in the wall place. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast and couldn't finish it. Very nice portions and great service. I think next time, I'll just get the hash browns and eggs and that will be plenty!!! We will be back on our next trip to Medford.

Porters offers a unique dining experience as it is situated in an historic train depot. I felt transported back in time and wanted to know more about the history. The food was delicious, fresh, beautifully served and the flavors unique. The staff is profesional, attentive but not invasive. The chef made it a point to visit our table personally. I highly recommend Porters if you are looking for a higher end dining experience and a palette pleasing evening.

The biggest clue that this is a special place is the owner who needs no stinking note pad to take your order. She is AMAZING!!I will use great self-control here and force myself from bragging on and on about her, but will simply say that the food is dang good. Never has anyone ever asked me if I wanted an item crispy or not. I was blown away, and it came to me exactly as requested.Please visit. No, wait! Don't go because that way I will always have a seat.
