Pie & corned beef hash are rarely this good. Dynamite service. No nonsense American diner with GREAT classics and some modern touches. Buckwheat pancakes, banana cream pie, chicken fried steak, potato cakes, gravy, biscuits, and skillet rocked. Worth the detour from the freeway. Canât wait to go back.
I guess theyâve been there 13 years and Iâm just finding out about this special gem. Had breakfast there and it was amazing. My wife had the Sacramento omelette added ham everything even the toast was spectacular. I had the French toast with bacon eggs over easy everything perfect and one of my pet peeves is I hate margarine but they use real butter that makes all the difference in the world. What a delicious place to eat wish I wouldâve known about this place sooner. next time Iâm gonna have to try the pie and the bread pudding.

One of the most fundamentally perfect bacon cheeseburger and onion rings you will find anywhere, plus other excellent lunch options! Their pies = kickass! Punkyâs is a hidden gem!
