Just happened off the highway for a break and saw Roosters. Tried our luck. What a fun little place lots of character. Even though there is a smallish menu, everything looks inviting it was hard to choose. I did finally settle on chicken pot pie. A classic that I love that is a rare item on menus nowadays. My wife picked one of the Benedicts. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. We really enjoyed our meals and our time. Very cute place to have a good fun meal.

We heard so much about this place and their legendary cinnamon rolls, so our group of six went while on vacation in Ashland. To our surprise, the owner told us we could only get four rolls total and refused to sell more. Very strange policy, especially for a tourist spot, and definitely not what I’d call customer-friendly. We won’t be back. Knowing how important customer service in the USA is,as a foreigner I can say without a doubt this place takes first prize in the category of weird and terrible customer service. Definitely not the kind of “legend” we expected.

We are just coming into town looking forward to trying the cinnamon rolls and we were greeted with a very unpleasant manager. We asked for six cinnamon rolls and she harshly denied us and told us that it’s only four per group. We don’t really understand when we were ready and willing to pay. She denied us and told us in very rude/ snippy way. They kept repeating the same statement about 3 more times.
I don’t understand if it is something popular and people are willing to pay and you tell people no. Just make more and not be rude about it.
We will not be back just because of the service.

Breakfast place with the biggest cinnamon rolls around. The cinnamon rolls have a large scoop of butter on top. Not sure why since are already drowning in icing. Everyone in my party just pushed it off to the side. They won't seat you until all parties are present with a large group. I suppose that is common but we had 2 people coming 30 minutes after our arrival so we requested to sit anyway. They accommodated but I don't think they were happy about it. I'm giving 4 stars bc I do think they try hard & honestly, they must be doing something right bc they have been there for decades!

Great place for breakfast. Also huge cinnamon rolls the kids love. But go early if you want them...they sell out early. Great staff.
