Shinsei Sushi offers a unique dining experience with good quality sushi and has recently improved its menu and recipes. The restaurant now features more varieties of ramen and additional vegetables. The tempura veggies, especially the squash, remain amazing. The teriyaki chicken is a large portion of sliced chicken and veggies served sizzling-hot on a platter, accompanied by miso soup, a great salad with house dressing, and a heaping bowl of brown or white rice. The staff is very accommodating, friendly, and quick to greet customers with smiles, making wheelchair accessibility easy. The owner is helpful, especially with gluten-free orders. While sushi comes out fast, some rolls may still be unevenly cut, and the rice could be chewy. The takeout bags are cute, though they may have rolls crammed together. Traveling through Medford and randomly picked this sushi restaurant. Sushi was very tasty and fresh. Fantastic Seared Salmon! If you love quality sushi, this is the spot. Two people modest meals for $22 total, about $10 or so per person. So not too expensive for a light lunch that packs a punch. Always my go to place when I visit Medford. Fresh sushi and excellent bento boxes. Great service. Overall, Shinsei Sushi provides a nice atmosphere with delicious food, vegetarian options, and top-notch service, making it a favorite spot for many.
