I have been eating at Shinsei Sushi for several years. We live in Mt Shasta, and every Medford trip means lunch at Shinsei. The sushi is fresh and excellent. Service is very amenable. This is not a restaurant for ambiance, as it is a standard strip mall setting, but everything else is very enjoyable. This restaurant gets a lot of high 5s from many Mt Shasta, Ca. residents who make it a point to eat there.

Normally I don’t mind this place— it’s not my go-to but I have eaten here quite a few times. However, this was how my order was presented to me today and they saw nothing wrong with it. I personally would be embarrassed to send something like this out, so I’m pretty disappointed. It tasted alright but was incredibly difficult to handle/eat.

Traveling through Medford and randomly picked this sushi restaurant. Sushi was very tasty and fresh. My only comment on the rolls is they need to be made bit smaller in diameter as they were far to big to eat in one bite.
