We love the whole experience at shojis! The food is amazing the teriyaki chicken & the steak are both so yummy! We love the salad, the rice & the veggies!! The service is excellent too! Everyone is so kind & friendly!
Its hard to make fried rice and stirfry much worse than this. This place has fallen so far from what it used to be.

The worst restaurant experience I have ever had. During mid-winter, the air was blowing on us to the degree that I had to go to the car and get my wife a blanket. By the time the meat was done our rice was cold and the “hot” tea was cold. They said it was the vent pulling air up which was not the truth since our napkins were moving from the airflow and they messed up the order numerous times. I let the manager know what was happening he apologized and said they would discount the bill, when we went to pay the owner said they wouldn’t be discounting it. I will never go back to this place. Also, the steak was low grade.

Wow what a messed up night! Our Chef was amazing - but the order was completely messed up - more veggies and more meat had to be brought to him TWICE! He really had a shady unorganized order given to him. Really sad and pathetic! The air was on - freezing us the entire time we were trying to enjoy our meal .... and although everything was messed up and we were told our complete order would be discounted - You guessed it correctly - NO IT WAS NOT. My daughter paid half in cash and they still charged her card the ENTIRE price! Pitiful - simply pitiful. I Wouldn't even give it a 1 - except the chef Jonathan was amazing!
I feel like this place used to be better.
The food was much better than the customer service. I came here for my birthday and I felt ignored while the other people at our table were constantly acknowledged. We probably won’t be coming back here.

Everything is amazing i went here for my birthday amazing food i was stuffed i couldn't take another bite really good rice good sushi good steak everything is good all around the cooks are nice and cool the waiters are polite

We waited over an hour for our chef, then the table next to us who had arrived only 20 minutes prior, received their chef. One part of our table addressed this with management who said our tables were accidentally reversed. Our chef was quite good but no compensation was ever offered or made.
Never impressed with the service..waited 45 min for a table then another 30 min for the cook. Food is always good though, portions aren't always fair when you have a whole table to share amongst.

This was a very different experience for us. We did not recognize any of the cooks. They were training new cooks, which was fine, and they did well, but due to this, the time between getting rice/vegetables to the meat was lengthy. Two of the same drinks ordered came out different. The portions were half of what they've previously been. They didn't do sprouts at the end either, which we enjoy. For the price of everything, we were disappointed, as we know how it's been in the past. Shojis is usually one of our favorite places, but not this night.
Haven’t been to Shojis in 20 years and remembering it was pretty good then so decided to try it out Halloween night. The food was amazing, steak was excellent, teriyaki chicken was fabulous, rice and vegetables were great. Atmosphere was perfect and the Chef was very entertaining and good. We really enjoyed the night out, service all around was exceptional. Thank you for the great service.

Awful experience! We had a reservation for 6:15. We sat in the lobby for over 30 minutes before being placed at a table. Then after we sat at the table for 10 minutes without service they sat another group at our table. The other group brought an extra person so they made us get up and move. We didn't order drinks, but the other group did, so after waiting another 20 minutes, the other group's order was taken first, and they were served first (despite having a later reservation). Our whole dinner experience lasted about 1.5 hours due to a lack of service. We voiced our displeasure about the long wait and we were told “sorry, we're just really busy.” A reservation means nothing to this establishment, nor does customer service. We will never return!

So unfortunate, SHOJI’s SUCKS after the new owners took over. I got the teriyaki chicken, and it really had no flavor, super bland. The veggies were undercooked, pretty sure the chicken was as well. SUPER disappointing.I’ve been going to Shoji’s since 1993, ALWAYS had a great time , great meal, delicious drinks.. NOT ANY MORE! I don’t know if the new owners read any of these reviews but they should! You’ve ruined a great exciting place to eat. We always went early and got the “early bird special pricing” NOT ANYMORE… it’s not available.
I could go on and on about how it’s gone downhill but I’ll save ya… We WON’T be returning unfortunately.

It was a fantastic meal and as the one vegetarian in our party I loved the tofu tepanyaki!
Chef was great! Other service staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentavie, maybe short staffed?
