This is a nice find or me. A unique coffee place with some good food options too! The latte and peppermint tea are high quality. It's got a unique andfunky upstairs area that is quite comfortable too.

The matcha color is there 💯💯 Taste? Ehh.. Maybe I just have to try it again. It isn’t bitter or sweet. The oat milk possibly might’ve overpowered it. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. Everything else is great! I come here all the time 🙂

Based on the previous reviews, this high rating seems very overly inflated. We got a latte (tasted slightly burnt), London fog (not a lot of flavor), bacon burrito (premade and then warmed, but my son liked it) and peach juice (the menu was confusing and it was really smoothie mix?!?).
The ambiance was nice and artsy, but I drew the line and didn’t even let my kid buy a bagel for $4.50 that was sold in plastic wrap. Everything was overpriced based on the quality (I’m happy to pay for a well crafted beverage and pastries, but don’t sell me old baked goods). The quality just wasn’t there.

Seems like a great spot if they know you. I came in for a coffee and ordered a simple americano with cream. I had at least 5 people come in after I placed my order and receive their drinks before me. Kind of a bummer on a drink so simple to make. Probably just got lost in the mix but still made for a poor experience. The Americano was good.

On vacation, we went yesterdayand it was so amazing we had to go back today. It's absolutely incredible. 10/10. My daughter is a barista and noted the owner cuts no corners. He pulled the espresso 3 times before adding it to her drink so that it was done perfectly. I spoke more with the owner today, and I truly respect his creative process and recipe development. I ordered a Dishonest Tonic, and it tastes like a refreshing grapefruit candy, toasted over a campfire, hinted with marshmallows. My wife got a custom lavender cappuccino with salted honey and caramel. Literally THE BEST COFFEE I'VE EVER TASTED. Yesterday I ordered the Mango Tango Chai. My knees shook it was so delicious, and it made me return today for more. It was so hard not to order the same thing, but I'm glad I took the risk. My daughter had the Elvis Mocha, and she says she's adding peanut butter powder to every coffee she drinks in the future! Ha! I'll be much more likely to visit Medford (my in-laws) so long as this place is an institution. One thousand blessings on your head, Solid Ground Coffee.
To date, this is the best coffee shop I’ve been to (and I’ve been to A LOT) of coffee shops. Ambiance is wonderful, staff is friendly and helpful, and the drinks are absolute perfection. Clean ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and unique seasonal offerings.
The owner was behind the counter when we ordered and later recognized us at the farmers market and said hello, asked how our drinks were, made small talk - true definition of a community business.
Will definitely be back next time we’re home for a visit!

Handsome coffee shop in a beautiful old building in downtown Medford. Lots of seating to read, lounge, and work. Be sure to scope out the cool loft space in the back. Coffee and drinks are great too, I went in on a hot day and grabbed a Dis-honest Tonic—tasty and refreshing. Beans from Thump Coffee in Bend.
