Most coffee shops around here are drive thru or chains. Solid Ground takes the original meaning of a coffee shop to the next level. There's a drink option for every palette and fresh baked treats. Sit upstairs in their loft with noise cancelling headphones for a comfortable place to study without distraction, or by the window in the chair swing to witness the liveliness. An excellent local cafe! The barista was so friendly, we chatted about chai for a while. I had a delicious chai latte, the perfect amount of spice. A great place for relaxing to meet with a friend or get some work done.
Great little coffee shop in downtown. Comfortable seating even at the tables and chairs, plus some couches and a hanging basket chair. Can get pretty loud when busy but I've found that to be the case with most coffee shops.Barista was very friendly and offered great info about their drinks and options, but she was the only one working so it took some time to order and receive drinks. They have some great in-house made treats (make their own egg nog for egg nog speciality drinks--so delicious!) and unique options (tumeric white hot cocoa). A little pricier than some places I've been, but with the in-house specialties, I found it worth the price. Great place to meet a friend and enjoy coffee together.

Really wanted to stop in while visiting family after seeing how many great reviews they have! They make their own syrups even! The wonderful lady working was so kind and made sure everything was perfect to our liking. We got a chai, hot chocolate, iced white mocha, coffee cake, and bacon burrito. Essentially half the menu, and it was all delicious. They have a cozy little place you can hang out and spend time with someone or some alone time. My only con would be not having a larger size for iced drinks. They go up to a 16oz and with ice it didn't feel like a like of coffee.

I have been here a few times. The baristas are very nice and I love the space. I had a plain latte with cinnamon arranged into the milk. The espresso has a great flavor.
