When I drove up, the red-haired cook greeted me from the back door of the Shanti. He said the 3 piece basket is the best. It comes with 3 deep-fried wings, coleslaw, fries, something crunchy, and a sauce to dip them in. I paid the gal, who looked like she had just walked away from the gym. She said she added a 15% tip as she handed my card back.
Then we waited 20 minutes for the chicken to deep fry. I was the only one there, I guessed they were warming up the oil.
When the basket came out, there were 3 (not whole) chicken wings with a sauce I didn't recognize, poured over them. There was no coleslaw, and there were no fries. The something crunchy turned out to be a stalk of celery cut into 3 pieces!
If you go there, be sure the red-haired cook shouts what you ordered to the gym gal (a distance of about 6 feet) so she can charge you appropriately. The basket was $12
The celery was the best part.
Parking: The location looks temporary, like they could be gone the next day.

Best chicken sandwich I've ever had!
I am sad to be writing this review as I was really excited to try this young franchise. When I saw that this establishment claimed to be using high quality chicken, I perked up. Unfortunately, as with many things, execution matters as much, if not more than the ingredients.
I ordered two meals. A sando and fried wings Tennessee Hot style. The price was extremely high for the quality I received.
I reserve 1 star for inedible and dangerous, the food is not that. It's merely poorly prepared with a lot of cut corners, which is a pity because the chicken they source is reasonably high quality. To put things in perspective, the (standard frozen bag) fries that I purchased was the most interesting part of the meal with regards to texture and flavor.
Their unbrined chicken was bland and dry. Any pro-chicken chef knows that a salt/soy brine enhances the flavor and allows the chicken to retain moisture during the fry process.
The breading was barely acceptable, but lacked any determinable salt profile (a standard). Breading texture was lacking as well. It was insufficiently fluffy or crunchy. Fried chicken should be savory and salty (and perhaps a little sweet if you like honey butter or Tennessee hot). This tasted like poorly fried chicken that you would get at a British pub.
Sauces: Fried chicken is meant to be paired with a vereity of sauces. Nothing was made from scratch, all pre-bought industrial grade swill. Ranch is a very easy thing to make in medium batches, its basically mayo with dill and various odds and ends. Not here though, how about a room temperature plastic container that's almost at its sell by date? That's what you can expect here.
Tennessee Hot is a staple of Knashville. It is fiendishly spicy with a base of cayenne pepper, paprika, brown sugar, and garlic powder (with milder tastes for the broader American palette.) I could barely taste the molasses in the sauce and there was exactly zero kick. It was also pre-bought by some faceless conglomerate. Another corner cut.
Customer service was inflexible, inattentive, and generally uninterested. I get it. It's a job and frying stuff is gross. That's why I tip well and I am willing to pay extra. But this is $$$ without the quality.
Contrast this to a humble Liquor store in Jacksonville:
1. Fresh fried on the spot every time.
2. Brined chicken.
3. Sauces made from scratch.
4. 6 USD for a sando.
Until I receive words from the headquarters of this franchise, I will be informing everyone to avoid this joint like the plague.

amazing selection of drinks
Hands down the filthiest dining room I've ever been into. Their "corporate office" is 30ft away and they let that slide? Shameful.
Food was fine for bland chicken and fries.
Person taking our order looked like they were being forced by their parents to work.
Stop pushing out franchises and maybe focus a bit on the quality of your stores?
Lost a customer and potential franchisee.

Unfortunately some of the worst chicken wings I've ever had. Incredibly inconvenient their payment system was also offline to take debit cards. Good sauces at the least. I may try a different chicken next time.
