While waiting for my food I noticed an employee leaving the port-a-pody, he then returned to work, and within seconds he was touching food. There was absolutely not enough time for him to have washed his hands before touching my food. Unacceptable and disgusting.

Service was friendly. Food was not very tasty. They offer a wide variety of sauces... but none of the sauces were good, I purchased 6 flavors and yucky!!! Atmosphere is a 1 star due to the terrible bathroom situation, plus outside by a busy highway
Was ripped off not worth it had a grilled chicken well should say lettuce sandwich that's all that was on it $30. And 25 mins later don't waste your money or time will never go back

I love chicken shanty! The coconut chicken with the dragonfruit sauce is amazing. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait but it's sooo worth it. A local gem that brings some southern comfort to the PNW. I think everyone needs to try them,atleast once, you'll be hooked afterwards!
I have been going here since the doors swung open for service, still missing the Cajun tots. I have been here 50-100 times and each time I get at least 3-6 meals, and each time I tip 10-20% or so as well, like people should for local businesses. Today was something else…
We stopped, got three meals and drove all the way to south Medford. Go to eat and it’s burnt. We call and explain it’s not a normal level of over cooked, she acted sorry and said she’d remake. I drive all the way back at 2pm traffic to be greeted by a foul attitude and like I’m some liar. I show her what my chicken looked like and said it was too dry for me and she “explained” how coconut chicken always looks darker. (I have had it at least 20 times. My go to every time) and she handed me my bag of food and slammed the window in my face. No sorry, no nothing. I’m just treated like a Karen. I had spent $47 on my three meals and I expect to be able to eat it. The food is usually really good when it’s not a spoiled brat working. I was kind and respectful and just explained my point and she slammed a window in my face. In the pictures you can see the remade food and the old food side by side as well as close up of the first food clearly charred and dry.
Support local but some people make it really hard to go back. I planned to tip them again when I picked up my fresh food but she slammed the door in my face too quickly. I have never in my 50+ times in ever asked for a remake. This is clearly not right. Best of luck guys, it’s great food most the time, you best check before you leave the parking lot and don’t talk back to the little girl because she’s got an attitude of attitudes.
