This used to be a super good location but last night there was only one employee during diner rush and the poor guy was doing what he could, but obviously the coleslaw had been left out and turned bad.my chicken was burnt and part of my order was missing. This is not the employee's fault as no one should be left alone, but I did end up getting sick.

For David and Thomas at The Chicken Shanty in the mall, kudos to you. The food was excellent and plentiful. The customer service was great. I have no complaints. I will definitely be coming back.

They have amazing hot chicken now! It's dry rubbed spicy chicken in the style of Prince's hot chicken in Nashville. For $14.99 you get three pieces plus their delicious french fries and a soft drink. I took the meal home and put the chicken on some toasted hamburger buns that I had bought separately, plus mayo and pickles. There's enough here for two people, plus it comes with a small side of coleslaw and your choice of sauces, including hot honey. 10 out of 10.... highly recommended! Hands down the best spicy chicken in Southern Oregon.

First time eating at a chicken shanty, it's just bad compared to Raisin Canes or Slim chickens, not worth the price at all. Their sauces are cool I guess. If you had to eat here the fries are good and the wrap is probably the best thing on the menu.

Waited for a while then walked off to sit at a table till I saw someone walk up. Food was ok, expected better for the price. The ketchup I got was like a 1/4 of a cup full come on now lol.You guys will make more money if someone is present to take your order.

Super bummed. Went here with high expectations and they weren’t met. They were out of coleslaw and offered to sub with fries but felt the portion wasn’t anything more. We had the chicken tenders and the were dry and 1 had a bone. Price was ok but expected better quality for a place that specializes in chicken.
The food was delicious and memorable - they season their chicken very well and service was faster than I expected it to be. Dipping sauces have a lot of flavor. Portion sizes are well worth the asking price. This particular location is in the mall, so there isn't much control they have over what the food court looks like, but some of the seating options around this stand have some relative privacy compared to others. I plan to eat here again on my next visit :)Wheelchair accessibility: Its located in the food court, near an accessible entrance... there's plenty of space near the counter for wheelchairs and other mobility devices, and seating can be customized. This is a very accessible location.

I got the wrap with fries and it was amazing. The prickly pear lemonade doesn't mess around. The chicken shanty is a go to for quick and easy delicious meals. The service was fast and polite

Waited for two of the workers for about 5 minutes after I locked eyes with one of them to order. She turned away and went back to the fryers with the other kid acting like she was sweeping and completely ignored me. You guys closed in 30 minutes and had plenty of time to help me with just an order of fries. When a customer is waiting in line, they should act like they want to be there even if they don’t. So I walked to the other side where the fryers are and told them thank you for the help and walked out. Pretty much more worried about talking to each other and closing, than helping a customer. Probably the last time I give this place a chance. It’s always something… I usually just let it go but I’m tired of the constant bad service from the high school kids you guys hire.

Was okay but I was given old dry chicken that had been sitting for a long time I’m afraid and it had zero seasoning. I love chicken shanty and have a love for the one on highway 62 so I thought since I was at the mall I’d give them a try. Out of tots, out of sauces, coleslaw tasted expired and my chicken was cold and a chewy dry mess. Only reason I’m giving a three star is I love chicken shanty, don’t know if it’s just a fluke or what.
