Sat at the window of the drive thru for over 5 minutes, the workers inside would just look at us. Finally just drove away. There was only 2 cars there so didn't seem busy. Disappointing.

So I've seen a few reviews... some are good, some are bad. 4 star rating seemed mostly good. However, most of those ratings seem like they were posted years ago. However, I still wanted to give it a shot.
So I went in to order. Was 2nd in line, and the person ahead of me just finished ordering as I arrived. Lady turned around to go do kitchen stuff, no big deal. And so I waited.
And waited...
And waited... sometimes places get busy, understandable. Look at the grill... 2 patties... OK, maybe they are doing something else. I can wait still.
So I waited some more...
And then some more...
Suddenly, the phone rings. Lady answers the phone, writes down THEIR order, and leaves again. Look at my phone... 13 minutes have passed. Yup, I'm done. Get in my car and leave. Oh yeah... same car in the drive thru was still there when I first arrived.
The only reason I gave the food a 2 is because sometimes, no taste is better than bad taste, and since I didn't get to taste anything... I tasted nothing, thus being better than tasting bad.

One my favorite childhood restaurants! They still have their great food from the 70's, "a burrito with (w/chili & cheese)" and "a short and thick" (cup of ice cream filled in ghe center w/chocolate syrup then malt powder and marshmallow on top). Many a time in HS these were our lunch/dinner... lol! For us, a trip to MF always includes a trip to the Burger Hut! We often meet our old HS friends here for lunch! They have great burgers and shakes too! You have to stop here if you're in the area! You can zip through the drive-through or come inside and sit at a table, where they have counter service.
Great burger, fast service, clean and easy. Just an old burger joint !! And ice cream. Definitely recommend stopping in.

Ordered fish and chips, and it was burned to a crisp. Rock hard batter and oil poured out of it when you bit into it. As for the chips, they were just about ok, but you hardly got any. Do not go here for fish and chips.

Have ordered many times, but been 6 months since… Wow what a change where’s the hamburger Patty.. and I ordered avocado and didn’t get it on my burger. Also ordered large fries that usually serves my husband and I quite well… so disappointed in our order tonight. More money and so much less food!
Best hometown burger place! Food is always made to order and always amazing!

There price are even close to what they say on line and it's really pretty plain jane nothing to really say oh I want to go there nothing that say oh you can only get it there you can get pretty much get there hole menu any were so it's ok but would I recommend it ya if your in a hurry and can't make it your self it's ok but pretty plain nothing really special it is what it is

We loved the food very good and old school authentic like a traditional old ma and pa burger shack but the pricing for the food was outrages. Too overpriced for how small the portions we were given and they offer no combo meals everything ordered separately. Over all tasted amazing and the milkshakes were delicious and handmade but did not taste as well you would think based on how much we spent.

The place is almost exactly the same after 40 years. They have great ice cream. The finger stakes were good. I wasn't impressed by the burger.
Parking: Parking is wrapped around the place and a little tight, but we made it.
