A laid-back, farm-style spot—simple, welcoming, and serving up some fantastic wines. Their Anarchy label was the crowd favorite, but every bottle pretty great. Such a wonderful family-run winery!
We stopped at Ducleaux Cellars as part of a wine tour, and we're glad we did! Toby and Trig (probably misspelling both names...sorry) were excellent hosts. They explained each wine well, and they both have a great sense of humor. They do make seriously good wine too!
The Syrah grapes were just starting veraison (a new term I learned :) ). Their vineyard is literally about 20 yards from their tasting room and Toby let us see what veraison looked like when the grapes were on the vine.
Needless to day, we bought several bottles from them and will definitely go back the next time we are in Walla Walla area.
I highly recommend this wine!
A must stop in Milton Freewater, Rocks District. What a line up of wines, you will not be dissapointed. Low key, rural area, easy to get to, close to Los Rococos Winery, another go to!

Apart from exceptional wine, Chris and Toby are so friendly! A super experience all around. A must visit for an Oregon wine tour
The owners of Ducleaux Winery are great people and excellent hosts, serving excellent wines. A great experience.
Lovely tasting experience in a charming setting with absolutely delicious wine!
My wife and I decided to check out the new Rocks AVA and the wineries there. Obviously Cayuse is there, but we wondered what else. Among a handful of wineries we found, was a real gem... Ducleaux. Chris and Tony are the owners and do almost all the work. They have created a line of wines that they label after their life experiences. Bottom line, great wine, better people, excellent experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
We had an excellent visit at Ducleaux. The wine was wonderful. The winemakers are very kind and passionate about what they do. We will definitely be back!
Amazing wines! Great owner and a terrific dog, Stella, and cat, Romeo.

I was determined to fully explore the Milton-Freewater wineries this year, and I am glad I did! I found so many hidden gems, including this winery! The owners of Ducleaux personally chatted with us and poured their wines, taking the time to get to know us and explain their process and philosophy for wine-making. I absolutely loved learning about the process they used for their sparkling wine (they use the traditional method of creating an ice seal while the bottle is upside down), and just generally talking with them. The winemaker herself came out with a lovely charcuterie board for all the guests to munch on since it was around lunch time. The wines themselves are clean and drink very well, especially the sparkling wine. There was no lingering unwanted flavors or mustiness some wine-makers have trouble with. I look forward to seeing them grow in the future!
The experience of wine drinking depends on the people you’re with. Chris and Toby (and John) gave us the perfect platform to have the BEST experience. The authenticity of the experience was unmatched. And the wine is delicious!!
Great wine and super fun owners. Chris and Toby (and yellow lab Stella) are great hosts! We arrived without reservations and they fit us in.Tasting is inside their industrial garage, so it’s not the most romantic, but the stories and friendliness made up for it!We left with a case of various wines…
We had a lot of fun hanging out with Chris and interrogating him about his life decisions to build a winery ?
Chris and Toby are extremely passionate about making exceptional wine. Every bottle has a unique story that will either make you laugh or cry. Their tasting experience is heart felt and amazingly rustic. Although Ducleaux Cellars is off the beaten path, it is worth making the trip out to!
