Stopped by for a tasting. Met a friendly group dedicated to crafting dry, flavorful ciders. If sweet ciders are your preference, it might not be the place for you. If you like dry ciders or want to give them a try, Freewater is the place to go.
This place is the definition of a hidden gem. We've visited multiple times and it's consistently a wonderful experience. The cider tastes fresh and natural and the wine always hits the spot. Paired with wonderful conversation from the folks working there. This is a must stop if you are in the area and enjoy cider and wine.
I had a great experience with my wife and my sisters at this location. The owner was absolutely great, welcomed us into the business and chatted with us the whole time we were there. The cider and wine were amazing and if you have a chance to stop by this location do it. You’ll have an amazing experience and great beverages.
We drove down here after having the syrah in one of the restaurants in Walla Walla. The staff was super friendly. Ended up not only taking home multiple bottles of the Syrah, but rose and cider as well! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!
Great experience. Knowledgeable and learned a lot. Pairing (snacks) provided. Even got a personal of the processing room. Highly recommend!
Amazing ciders and wines, great staff, fun atmosphere. Tastings are a must!
Stopped in at FreeWater Cidery on our way home from a weekend in Walla Walla. Definitely worth the stop! Bill was very knowledgeable about his source fruits and the cider and winemaking process.
FreeWater cider and winery is a must stop if you are in Milton Freewater, wonderful service, one of a kind experience and don't get me started on the products, you can't go wrong with any of their ciders/wine. Success to them!
Could be good, but I didn't get a chance to try. Guy was leaving as I arrived. Maybe going for lunch??? Pet peeve of mine is websites with hours of operation that are not accurate. Supposed to be open until 4. Grrrrr
Sweet spot with great cider and delicious snack plates. We sat outside on a tiled and flowered patio. Check it out.

Best cider around. Super friendly and did I mention the best cider around? Super clean and delicious. True craft
Top notch very flavorful cider.
Our host Bill was very engaging and knowledgeable about the ciders we were tasting. He was also quick to support fellow local businesses, suggesting ice cream from Walla Walla Cheese Company for the kids. Our favorite dry ciders were Old Town and Fuji, but their new 2020 Rosé was exceptional as well. We appreciated how Freewater's ciders did not contain added sugars and articial food coloring/preservatives. Some of the cider bottles are reusable, which we loved!
A great old-world cider company. AWESOME ciders.
Great atmosphere, delicious unique flavor.
