My daughter and I stopped by after a long days work. The owner was extremely rude and told me that he didn’t sell dollar tamales. I hadn’t asked that question at all. He was implying that we did not have enough money to spend at his place of business. That was after I had asked to see the tamale menu (thought there was one), he gave us a menu and said “can’t you read”? We told him he was out of line and he said we were not welcomed there.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DIVE RESTAURANT AT ALL!!! IIF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A NUANCE AND BELITTLED WITH CRAP PARKING GO RIGHT AHEAD…THERE IS NOT AN OPTION FOR ZERO STARS!!!!!!To the rude owner…do not write me on here because I don’t want to hear your lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*No you won’t strive to do better; too late for that. You should have apologized when I was there. Too little too late.

Tamale flavors were not even close to the countries they were supposed to be. The place was super dirty, especially right after they just opened, looks like they didn’t clean them in a long while. After I tried to give my opinion about the food, they were very offensive and disrespectful. They mistreated their employees in front of us.Prices are very high.I do not recommend this place

This place is terrible, old weird guy is terrible, it stinks, the food is bad, it's butt ugly, and it's empty for a reason. This is not a hidden gem. This is not underrated. Do not go here. Do not follow your gut instinct to try it.

Amazing! Food was delicious, Service was spectacular. A little spendy. Tiny seating area inside and a handful of tables outside. Worth a stop for sure.

An absolute gem of a place. The masa was soft, fluffy and tasted amazing. The portions were perfect and the cook was on point. Can't appreciate the kind and welcoming service enough. A must go!!! We will definitely be returning soon.

Well my bestie and I went in and ordered to go. 3 tamales and 2 dessert tamales. Dessert ones were so friggin good. But when everything was ready packed to go I didn't pay attention to what the charge was on my card. It should have been like $45 not $92. I have left messages, emails you name it and never a response. I would love more but not until they make it right.Place was ickyAnd owner was using a table in front of customers in the dining room for his office. But the little lady cooking knew her stuff. She is what made it ethnic..so the food is awesome, but make sure to look at your billParking: Only one spot close by

First time trying it, the food is way overpriced the rice was either old or burnt and it tasted funky, too much onion or garlic??? Idk, the beans were whatever, the poblano rajas tamal was inedible I forced myself to take a second bite then threw it away, the chicharrón tamal was edible but the meat was kind of dry, the owner seemed nice to me, but overall I will not be going back.

We were served on paper plates, were treated rudely by the owner who said something about flies when we walked in (!) and after he served me the wrong tamale he didn’t follow through by bringing the correct order like he said he would. This was hands down THE WORST dining experience I’ve had anywhere in the world. The food is mediocre at best and is ridiculously over-priced. Bad/rude service. The owner made us feel very unwelcome and we were the only 3 people there in the height of a lunch hour (that was our first sign). Tamales aren’t good and honestly I find frozen store-bought tamales tastier. Spare yourself. I’d give this place a minus review if I could.
