Food stand at the Beaverton Farmers Market was an AWFUL experience.Owner rude, condescending, inappropriate, incompetent and appeared to be drunk; rude, snarky, pushy cashier. OVERPRICED. Will never return to food booth or go to restaurant. Look at all of the one star reviews on Google and Yelp. They should not be allowed at any farmers market. Ugh
I saw the interview on FOX 12 today and was reminded of how the owner accused my wife of being prejudiced against Hispanic people because she spoke to him in Spanish. He had been speaking to the lady cooking in Spanish but took offense when a northern looking lady thought she was being supportive of their community. Will never go back and tell all that I can of this experience.
My wife and I had an awesome meal, drinks and dessert. Great conversation with Charlie and his brother. Highly recommend everyone enjoy a meal here.

Canby Asparagus Farm Casa de Tamales is a hidden gem that offers an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant's owner and partner provide warm hospitality, and the atmosphere, although small, is made up for by the fun and friendly service. The tamales, made with soft and fluffy masa, are a highlight, and the portions are generous. The meals are expertly prepared, with flavorful fillings and sides. Guests can enjoy a variety of tamales, including sweet options like the PBJ and lemon coconut, which are highly recommended. The masa is so delicious that it seems to be made with love and passion. Visitors often praise the friendly owner and the cozy atmosphere, which makes for a refreshing change from dining in Portland proper. The restaurant is also known for its enchiladas and breakfast omelette with bacon, packed with veggies and cheese, often large enough to share. While prices may be higher, the quality and taste make it well worth the visit. Guests can even ask for a tour of the adjacent antiques shop, showcasing the owner's unique collection. With its kind service, delicious food, and cozy atmosphere, Canby Asparagus Farm Casa de Tamales is a must-visit destination for foodies.
