I’ve tried a lot of Asada Fries from different food carts. Almost always disappointed w soggy fries. Not here. Seasoned well, fresh and crispy. Smothered w meat, cheese and guacamole. Delicious!

I got the bacon breakfast burrito and added chorizo to it. It was phenomenal 😋

worst Mulita ever! if you want tacos or Mulitas, please do not go here, they included cold lettuceWTH? plenty of other places in the Portland areas that are bomb for tacos and Mulitas

Don Chico Taqueria 2 has quickly become one of our go-to spots for Mexican food. The tacos are packed with flavor, the portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair. We especially love their carne asada and chicken tacos– both are juicy and perfectly seasoned. The soda was so cold and refreshing just the way we like it. The staff is friendly, and service is always quick, even when they’re busy. Whether you're grabbing lunch or craving late-night tacos, this place hits the spot every time. Highly recommend!

It was the best Mexican food I've had in a very long time. I'd recommend it.

I’ve been coming to Don Chico Taqueria for over a year and have recommended it to dozens of my coworkers. Sadly, I recently had an experience that completely changed how I feel about this place.

I’ve always enjoyed their burritos, but their salsa cups are so small that I often end up eating my burrito dry. To avoid this, I started asking for extra salsa, never thinking it was an issue—especially since most Mexican restaurants have a salsa bar where customers can get what they need within reason.

This time, however, the young lady at the window informed me (rather abruptly) that moving forward I’d be charged for extra salsa. She said she’d “make an exception this time” as she handed me my food. It caught me off guard and left me feeling embarrassed, as though I was being reprimanded over something so minor.

I decided to give them another chance and even offered to pay for the extra salsa at the point of sale. I specifically asked for four cups and paid for them—but was only given three. At that point, I couldn’t help but feel undervalued as a loyal customer.

It’s disappointing that after a year of support and countless recommendations, something as insignificant as a few extra salsa cups has soured my experience. Over a $0.50 charge and poor service, they’ve lost a regular customer. I won’t be returning, and I won’t be recommending them to anyone going forward.

Keep your extra salsa.

We've always gotten their breakfast burritos (delicious), but this time I decided to branch out and get their tacos. I wasn't prepared for the spice, but they were delicious ?. Will be back again.
